Making Money Online 101- The Real Truth

Internet is full of people who want to make money online. While there are already thousands of people making money online, or at least trying to make money online, thousands of others are joining in every day. I mean who wouldn’t like it? Making money online sounds so cool and interesting. Of course the current financial situation we are in, and the collapsing job market, makes the idea of making money online all but more desirable. Unfortunately almost 90% of those who set out to make money online, will fail. It’s sad, but it’s true. You know why? They lack the most important tool needed to succeed in making money online.

This important thing is the will to work hard! There is nothing wrong with wanting to make money online. It’s actually great, specially with the way our economy and job market is going. But, the thing that bothers me is the fact that there is this misconception that making money online is easy. Some people think making money online is as easy as working one hour a day or so, and you get to enjoy the rest of the day doing what you want to do. Perhaps it’s all those advertisement that promise people thousands of dollars while they sleep, the many thousands of e-books and digital product that are all over the internet with their big flashy text telling you, you can be making money in no time, and you don’t have to do anything but working 30 minutes a day and make $2000 a day doing just that.

Making money online is not any easier than it would be offline. Although i don’t deny that there are people who are making big sums of money working only few hours a day on the internet. But, don’t forget the fact that these people have worked hard for years to get to where they are now. They didn’t get there overnight by sitting on their butt. They put hours upon hours of hard work into it. And even after all those years, they still have to work hard even if it is just for a couple of hours.

You know, I participate in many great online money making forums such as warrior forum. While these forums are full of information and guides that tell you exactly what to do and where to go to make money online, I see people all the time (sometimes even myself), over looking these information, and are always looking for that magic button or that secret information that will make them money. There is no magic button, there is no secret to making money online. It’s all in you. The information is there, its what you do with it, that matters. Reading and knowing the information doesn’t make you a dime, putting this information to work for you is what will make you money. You need to take action and do it.

There are many ways you can make money, from making money using facebook and myspace to making money with CPA and affiliate marketing and more. But, making money online takes hard work and persistence. Anybody tells you otherwise, is either trying to sell you his or her product, which probably is one of those products that will show you how to “make money” online, quick and easy, or is a person that just doesn’t know any better. You can make money online, in fact almost anybody who can use a computer, can make money online, but only if you follow through and work hard. Otherwise years will pass by, and you will still be just another one of many thousands of people who want to make money online, but can’t ever do it.

Well, I have learned from realhomebasedsuccess dot com that there are home based business opportunities and ideas that could be our option such as: -Selling Goods or Providing Services Online -Making Money through Direct Marketing -Becoming an Affiliate Marketer -Getting Paid on a Click Thru but I was thinking which is the best one and most effective in terms of generating consistent Ongoing Profits. What do you think? do you have any insights?

Re: Which would you start: a Blog or Online Community? - It is a difficult decision to make. Lets start it this way - What are you more interested in? Money? or Friends? or Both? If its purely Money, then Blog might be an appropriate answer. But consider this - It will be people (visitors) that will bring traffic to your blog and then Money will follow. This will be possible after a time and during this time it will be your friends who will be the starters. If you are looking for friends only, then its true that not many will be interested in knowing how you have beaten them in the game or the other way round. So it will be preferable to have a Forum where they can share ideas with you and others. But you can share your insider knowledge with them and invite comments from your Blog. You can also put up information on what others (including your friends) don't know about Tennis. The blog you create can provide News, Inside Information and also Techniques that can be used by the new entrants in the world of Tennis.
QuickBooks vs. Microsoft Money vs....? - I have always used Microsoft Money to run my business - accounting, invoicing, etc. It came with my computer when I got it and integrated well with my online banking system so everything is a breeze. It only takes 30-60 minutes every quarter to do the bookkeeping (keep in mind that I have a very simple business - no inventory, very little invoicing, I do all my payments by credit card, etc). Is QuickBooks or Money the best accounting tool for small business owners? Or is there something even better?
