A Baby Boomer Wealth Transfer Is Happening
I'm in my early 30s and I am completely sure that things are not as they used to be where retirement is concerned. A Baby Boomer wealth transfer is happening.
Those of you who are baby boomers know more from experience than I do that getting and keeping a job for 45 years and retiring well is likely not going to happen. It's certainly not going to happen for guys and girls my age.
So what's left? Should we feel destitute and like we can only throw our hands in the air and hope our country will take care of us? Good luck with that approach.
Kip Herriage of Wealth Masters International recently stated that 83% of American Millionaires are self made. He went on to say that less than 1% of those who retire wealthy do it by any other means than self employment.
What's important is to remember that we have 2 choices. (I always keep in mind that if I don't make a choice one will be made for me!)
Once I realized this I decided to do what it takes to be on the winning side of the wealth transfer. If I don't make that choice I will be forced onto the losing side. It's that simple in my mind.
I know that since the dawn of time there have been those who are fortunate and those who are not. What has changed recently is that none of us are able to be oblivious any longer. The impact of our nations mistakes are too large to ignore.
I'm pushing myself to be better and bring the good news to everyone. We can still have bright futures!
A friend of mine recently told me he has such a hard time learning and preparing for the future. In the back of his mind there are always sobering thoughts of those who will not be prepared and how much they will suffer as a result.
My response to him was we have to help as many as we can, we can't remove the factors that will cause many to live through hardships. What we can do is not give up on ourselves. The poor can't help the poor!
So I've decided to be diligent, study many sources of information and turn off the media mind fog designed to confuse and defuse us.
Being a part of a private wealth creation and education community has put me on the right path towards not only winning coming out of the next depression but bringing as many as I can with me.

- I think Education would be hard to break into.
Baby Boomers, Life Support and Trading Down, however, seem like good markets.
As for Green technology goes, I don't think the business has to be entirely based on Green ideologies, but rather a business that embrace Green philosophies and use that as a marketing tool.

- I have to say I'm very interested in this. My nephew is 13 months and absolutely loves is Baby Einstein DVDs. I can't speak for other enfants or caregivers, but I know for a fact through these DVDs he was able to learn new words and actions.
I think for Disney its a rebranding issue. I believe the current consumers of these videos will probably continue to watch them. And I have to say a lot of it is word of mouth, before he was born I knew nothing about this stuff, but now I probably know far too much and its all because of the information I've been given.
