Once the moderator notices this, it is likely that he or she will go in and clean up shop and delete all of these profiles, leaving you with no links and your time being wasted.

To make sure that your links actually stay in place, when you set up an account at these websites you have to actually set it up like you are going to contribute to that site. Set up your profile with a picture and all the extra information that goes along with your profile. Then once it is all set up, come back a week or two later and then drop in your links.

You will get a much higher approval rate and sticking rate of your links if you don\'t just drop your links and move on. Use the method above and it will be time well spent.

Once you do have the links in place, the next step is to make sure that Google and the other search engines will index the page where your links are.

Re: Social Media Effectively? - Thanks for your feedback. I am currently reevaluating my use of Twitter as I am the other major networks. Seems that while I have focused on social business networks and have a good presence there, I have not been using Social Media Effectively with the big networks. Some of the better site tools include theses networks in evaluating your marketing strategy. While I don't care for the Twitter limits, I can see that just by cleaning up my following's to focus more on business connections will help
