Many SEO friends mentioned that doing SEO, personal resources are very important for website owners.

What is this personal resource specifically referring to? Very few explanations. From meaning between the lines revealed that the majority should refer to the sites they already have in hand. If you have run a bunch of sites already, it will be easier to promote a new website.

But I think the real personal resource is interpersonal resources, rather than the number of sites they have in control.

Usually when I do a new website, I will not link it with my existing websites, and also will not exchange links with the same websites again which I had exchanged links before. For this link exchanging method will be detected as link farms by search engines.

If there are just a few links are from our own web sites, it’s no problem. But if all these website links are the same, there is a certain degree of risk. So when there is a need to build links for new website, I typically to find new link partners.

At this time having good interpersonal relationship, especially interpersonal relationship in the same industry is very important. Although the same industry is filled with competitors, if you cooperate in your industry you take a better position.

You should try to do your best to maintain good relations with other webmasters. Even if it has no business with your websites. Many webmasters have a lot of sites spread across different industries, sometimes by a simple surprise he could find some websites from his own resources to link to you.

Why do so many people spend thousands of dollars to attend industry conferences? Most times, the speakers are generally spoken cliché, but they could know many people in these industry conferences. Taking part in an industry conference can link hundreds of people together from the same or related industry. Keep in touch with them; it is a valuable asset of the future development and promotion of websites and your business.

Another personal experience is that many of the famous are actually very well talking, and very enthusiastic people. Take some time to browse their blog and once you make contact exchange experience (only benefits without disadvantages.) When you need it, they can help a lot.

Don’t underestimate and ignore the seemingly unknown webmasters.

Of course, such links must not be too utilitarian, don’t go to the length of requiring exchange links.

Interpersonal relationships far exceed the value of the link itself.

Re: Best Internet Marketing Strategies - Personal development and knowledge are important but as Mat says without action nothing will happen. So don't spend so long learning that you fail to follow through, rather learn as you go along but do something everyday towards achieving your goal. MichelleJ
