Most Successful Home Business: Do You Know What You're Looking For?
Let's think about this for a moment. Ask yourself if you really know what you are searching for. Are you searching for something that will give you an income so you have more time to do the things you love to do? Is community important to you? Does your perfect business provide you with the training you need? Are you looking to make massive amounts of money? Are you simply looking to supplement your income? What is your most successful home business?
Your doing the right thing
It is a very good sign that you are searching for an opportunity to make money from home. Because you are doing this it means that you have the entrepreneurial spirit. You likely do have what it takes to fulfill your dreams. Somewhere out there is the best opportunity for you. It starts with knowing what you want.
Do your homework
I can tell you from my own experience that it pays to do your homework. Don't be afraid to opt in for more information on an opportunity that sound like it will lead you to your dreams. Once you opt in though, give it some time. Talk to the people behind the opportunity. Ensure that the opportunity is real and the people are real. If your gut tells you that this is the wrong opportunity then simply unsubscribe. Don't allow yourself to be pushed or dragged into something that you know is not right for you.
When you find the right opportunity
When you find the business opportunity that meets your definition of success, find out about the guarantee. Make sure you are clear on the risks and the procedure to follow if you decide to back out. Once you understand the guarantee commit yourself to putting all you can into the opportunity during the trial period. Also pick the lowest cost level to join the opportunity. When you join at the lower level you will always have the chance to upgrade later. Proceed with every ounce of enthusiasm but proceed wisely.
Keep knocking
If you put all you have into an opportunity and it doesn't work out. Keep knocking on opportunities door. Don't be afraid. I myself failed at five or more businesses before I found success. I am glad that I kept knocking.
Give a lot of thought to what a successful business means to you. Be confident that you are on the right path. The fact that you're searching for opportunity means a lot. Research any opportunity that you are considering. Talk to the people behind the opportunity. BE wise as you embark on the opportunity of your choice. If things don't work out just keep knocking. It amazes me that I have come to a place were I can conduct mutually beneficial business with such a diverse group of friends, right here from my cozy little office (with my two goldfish). I am amazed by the internet. The internet has giving me some wonderful and life changing experiences. Here are three of them. First of all I met my lovely wife online and since we lived so far apart at the time we went through our seven month engagement mainly via the internet. That was nearly nine years ago. Second, I have been attending college on the internet and I am about to graduate. Finally, I am creating a website and running a profitable business on the internet and the internet has freed me from going to a job every day. All of this simply because I take full advantage of the opportunities the internet has to offer. I am pretty simple guy. If you read between the lines you know among other things that I am a husband, I am a father, and I didn't go to college when I was young. I enjoy spending time with my wife, I enjoy raising my son, and I like being a positive influence and helping others. I enjoy living a relaxed lifestyle, having the money to do the things I love to do, and plenty of freedom with my time. I also love coaching and helping others to achieve the lifestyle of their own design. That is pretty much me in a nutshell. - this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody.
2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto.
3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book
Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
