Information overload is a real issue on the Internet today. All you need to do to prove this point is do a Google search for "make money online". It can be difficult to sort through everything you come across. Often times you have to search for extended periods of time, revising your search criteria many times, just to find a single piece of information. I am sure you can relate.

Information quality is another issue affecting many people looking to make money online. Everyone is trying to optimize their pages to be found on Google. While this is a good strategy if you are marketing online, it can cause difficulty for the person searching for information. When searching for ways make money online you will find all sorts of hype and empty promises. Much of what you find is some trying to sell the "Latest Guru Tactics" or some such nonsense. Most of these hyped pages are selling old, outdated material. Keep in mind, the people who are actually making money marketing online will be making so much money that they do not need to try and sell you their "secrets".

Predatory marketers and relentless spammers are responsible for keeping many people from making money online. These predators make "recommendations" of products or services simply to make money from your purchase. The person selling this product has often never used it. If they do use it, it is likely to be some sort of affiliate program that has little value, or makes little money unless they recruit a LOT of people. You will then be expected to do the same if you hope to make any money. Most of these programs either do not last or have such high attrition rates that you have to sponsor 100 or more people before you find one who will stick around long enough to accomplish anything.

If you find yourself among the scores of people looking to the Internet to make money, be mindful of the pitfalls that appear at every turn. There are those of us who really do have YOUR best interest at heart. To be perfectly honest, you can find all the training you will ever need to make money online for free. All you should ever need to pay for is the tools you will need to run your business. Tools such as auto responders and tracking services are a must. While there are free ones, you really do get what you pay for. There are, however, a few alternatives that can save you some money by bundling services. Paying for all the tools you will need individually could cost you between $50 and a few hundred dollars depending on the volume of your business and the size of your email list. On the other hand, with the right program, you could bundle all the services you will need for under $20 no matter how large your business gets.

So, if you are looking to make money online, do yourself a favor. Find a good mentor who is genuinely interested in YOU. You could spend the next couple of years learning these lessons, or you can leverage the experience of those who have come before you. Well, I have learned from realhomebasedsuccess dot com that there are home based business opportunities and ideas that could be our option such as: -Selling Goods or Providing Services Online -Making Money through Direct Marketing -Becoming an Affiliate Marketer -Getting Paid on a Click Thru but I was thinking which is the best one and most effective in terms of generating consistent Ongoing Profits. What do you think? do you have any insights?

Re: Which would you start: a Blog or Online Community? - It is a difficult decision to make. Lets start it this way - What are you more interested in? Money? or Friends? or Both? If its purely Money, then Blog might be an appropriate answer. But consider this - It will be people (visitors) that will bring traffic to your blog and then Money will follow. This will be possible after a time and during this time it will be your friends who will be the starters. If you are looking for friends only, then its true that not many will be interested in knowing how you have beaten them in the game or the other way round. So it will be preferable to have a Forum where they can share ideas with you and others. But you can share your insider knowledge with them and invite comments from your Blog. You can also put up information on what others (including your friends) don't know about Tennis. The blog you create can provide News, Inside Information and also Techniques that can be used by the new entrants in the world of Tennis.
