Anyone can do article marketing. It doesn't matter what you are selling, it can work with any product, service or idea you have.

Article marketing is a highly effective means of advertising. Lets talk about the article itself, you can either write it yourself or hire someone to do it for you. Your path of success will be less if you do outsource your articles, so try to do this yourself. You will get better at it as you go.

If you place an ad, it's publicized only one time, but if you write an article, it is on the internet forever. Also, it reaches more people than any other form of advertising out there. Writing articles reaches a huge audience and it costs you nothing but your time.

The title of your article is going to read like an ad, make this as attention grabbing as you possibly can. Use short paragraphs in the body, about 3 to 5 sentences works best. Use your keywords in the title as well as throughout your article, but do not over use them. Just find a topic that you know about and share it with others.

Write about 500 to 700 words long, giving value to others. Articles build your credibility because you are now the expert by giving out precise information to help others. This is a wonderful way to build up trust.

The resource box is where you will sell your product. People will go to your resource box and reward you by going to your site to find out more. Make this 5-7 lines long, here is where you are free to share what you are doing. Now you can place these on articles on directories, ezines, emails or even your blog, and others as well.

You want people to walk away with a pieces of information that they haven't had before. This creates a satisfaction and makes them hungry for more. You can get the click by asking for it in the resource box. Give out 3 points and have them go here- the opt in box for the other points. Make this something related to your article and create a want or need to get more.

This is a free form of advertising that is very powerful. Here is why it works, because people love to read articles. You are giving something to them, whether it is a tip or suggestion or some helpful information. It opens doors for you, people who then visit your site are now pre-qualified and interested enough to buy.

Search engines love articles. They now have lots of information, because of your good quality content in your articles. You have made them happy because your article has the information others are looking for and not just an advertising site to send people to.

One more thing here I want to leave you all with today is to put your signature in your e-mails with a link to your articles. This is also a great way to get exposure to your articles.

Article marketing is a great way to get pre-qualified people to your funnel, because they create curiosity and there fore you get more visitors to your site. They act as the little salesmen who do your work for you.

I reviewed Traffic Geyser in the latest episode of "David's Den" on my blog (see sig file), included an excellent video review of Traffic Geyser by John Detlif and decided against taking that particular project any further.
