Are Your Ads Congruent With Your Web Sites Offer?

Do you have a web site set up? Whether it is your affiliate site or your own. Are you placing ads online or maybe even using some offline techniques to get visitors to your site?

Make sure everything is congruent with each other. Being congruent means that the information in your ad matches the web page you are sending your prospects to. People go to your web site

to either get more information or to help them solve their problems.

Lets put it this way, if your ad tells them to go and download this free e-book and then they land on your content page, they will click away faster than a blink of an eye, and you now have lost a sale. The mind tells them right away that something is wrong here.

I am going to tell you this, make sure that your ads that you are placing are congruent with the landing page that you are sending them to. There is nothing worse than reading an ad, then once you get there it doesn't even have anything to do with why you clicked there in the first place.

When placing ads you are actually putting a contract out there. You are promising your prospects to click this link to get something of value at the other end. Now if they find exactly what you have promised them, they are more likely to continue reading through to take the action that you want them to take.

Make sure the headlines of your ads that you are placing match the web page that you are sending them to. It doesn'tmatter if it isthe exact same wording nor be the first thing on the page, just make sure it is similar to what you are offering.

Even your color schemes have a lot to do with being congruent. If you have a banner that they have clicked on that was bright red, and that is what attracted them in the first place. And now they head to over to your web page and see all green this may be the deciding factor to just click away.

How about your testimonies on the page. Are they congruent with your ad? Do they offer the right kind of help to solve the prospects problem and is it offering the right kind of solution for them? If so then this would be congruent with what you are offering.

Always make sure you test all your ads and make sure that they go to the right landing page you have intended them to go to. This is a very important part of your business, you paid for this ad, so make sure that it does what you have intended it to do, get you the click. So now make sure that your link goes to the right page for what your offer is.

That's what this business is all about, communicating with people. Give them the information they can live with, that is right for them and their family. Help them by being consistent in your marketing efforts, by giving the correct facts in your ads and then following up with the same content that you are sending them to.

Start placing those ads and make sure that everything is congruent.
