Ezines, simply put are electronic magazines that are sent via e-mails to subscribers. This works well because the subscribers have opted in to receive these e-mails, for that reason these ezines are not spam, since people have asked to receive them.

This is one huge benefit, every ad that you place in an ezine has a targeted audience. These are all people who are interested in your topic and are more likely to click through to your web page to see the offer.

Another great benefit to ezine advertising is that the news letter that arrives in your e-mail is highly personal, since most ezines use plain text it feels as though you are receiving an e-mail from a friend. I tend to open and read more e-mails that do not look like a web-page. How about yourself?

Always target your niche (your target market) when looking for an ezine to advertise with, you must know who you are targeting to get the best results. Once you do find the right ezine, always subscribe to them and read through it for a few weeks to make sure this will be a good fit for you.

Ezine advertising is by far the most affordable advertising available online. When you choose the right ezine to advertise with, those who are looking for what you have to offer, you now have a targeted audience. You know how to find people who want what you have before you place your first ad.

If possible I would always try to find testimonies, and find out if others have had any success with this ezine, if it has worked for others chances are it will be work for you. If they are not posted on the site, contact the publisher and ask them to send you a few.

I would suggest starting in a smaller ezine if you are just starting out. The main reason for this is because your ad will be ran faster than if you chose a larger ezine. Larger ezines may possibly take a week to even a month before it gets published. Also it will be much cheaper for you as well. The biggest thing is to just get that first ad out there, then look around and find other ezines, find as many as you can afford and start placing those ads. And do not forget to track those ads.

Did your ad work? If you listened and placed your ads in a small ezine, you probably didn't spend a bunch of money on them, therefore you can change it up a little and run it again. We all know the headline is the most important part of the ad, so make sure you change this up and keep trying until you get it right.

To summarize what we have just discussed, email advertising is an electric newsletter that contains either content or a survey and is delivered via e-mail to people who have asked for it, and you can place your ads in them.

Ezine advertising can help you build a strong foundation for your success.
