Branding yourself is a very big part for growing your online business. Do your customers know who you are?

Are you one of the many people in this world who are looking for a way to make a living online. You make your search for a legitimate business, do your due diligence and become part of an affiliate program. The Company gives you a website, they tell you that you are all set up for business, all that you have to do is to place some ads, get people to your site and you will start making sales. RIGHT? No Wrong you must have your own personal web-site. On this web-site you will want to brand yourself-The sole purpose of this site is to identify yourself, to let others know who you are and what you are doing.

The number one reason that people will buy from you is if they like you, on your own web-site you can now show them who you are. Let others know about you through your pictures, tell them stories about what is going on in your life. This works by show and telling your story. Nobody wants to do business with a robot. People buy from people, People work with People. Sell you first- then the company. Now that you have their attention it is time to let them know how knowledgeable you are about your business. Start by talking about what it is that you can do for them, give solutions to their problems. What do you have that would make them take notice - that would get their attention and make them interested in learning more?

Give them a little information, then cut them off before you give them to much. Don't go overboard and bore anyone just give a little bait, hook them and tell them what to do. It is now time for action, here is where you will be sending them to your affiliate web-site. This is the call to action, what do you want them to do? Let them know what they are going to the web-site for, will it be to find out more information, to fill out a form, or to buy something from you. Do not forget to tell them what to do.

People buy proven strategies, not a company's product. This is the reason having your personal web-site is so important. The most important thing that you will want to do is to track and measure all of your results from you web-site. Set up a tracking system to capture your leads, and follow through with all of them.

Setting up your personal website is easier that you might think. The first thing you will need to do is to get a domain name, a good choice for this would be your name, or anything that you actually would like to name it. Remember this is your branding web site. The second thing would be to get a web hosting site. I would recommend using actnow they can do both for you and are very reasonable. By doing a Google search you will find many more to choose from.
