Using Social Networking sites can help you generate qualified leads for your business, I have set some guidelines below you to get some ideas to help you get started.

Facebook is the most popular social networking site where you can connect with friends and family. People use Facebook to keep up with friends, download and look at others photo's, it is a great way to meet new friends. They even have a chat feature you can use while on the site. Facebook also allows users to create pages for businesses, products, or brands. You can create your Facebook fan page to promote yourself, your business or just about anything of interest to you and others.

Twitter is a micro blogging site, which means people can get there ideas out without spending much time doing it. Twitter limits answers to 140 characters. A nice feature with twitter is that you can get tweets on you computer or your mobile phone. If you have a business you can put your link into your message, this is an excellent way to get free exposure for yourself, especially if you have a few followers.

Myspaceis loosing popularity but it is still a great place to meet new friends. They have enabled you to integrate your activity to your Twitter and Facebook accounts, to attract and show others that you are still on myspace. You can share messages, photo's, promote movies, listen to music and write blogs on myspace. The site also includes classified ads and posting of events for you to use. YouTube is a community all about video's. You can put video's together and share them with others. This is an awesome place to go to learn a new skill or you could put together a video to train others on a topic of your choice. YouTube provides a forum for people to connect,.

LinkedIn is a business oriented social network site, members invite people to be connections instead of friends. You can search for jobs and review and find potential employees within the site.

I have just touched base on a few for you to use, of course you can find many more by doing a Google search.

When setting up your site remember to fill out your profile, this is where you will tell the world about yourself. Give all your basic information such as your name, where you live and e-mail, interests, education, work, hobbies etc. This is a great opportunity to attract others with the same interests as yourself.

Start joining them and inviting friends to join and others will find and invite you to join them. It should not take you very long to get the list going. You may find that one works better for you than another. The more you participate the more you will get out of it.

Not only will you make new friends you now have the marketing tools to network and grow your business. It lets you network with anyone, anywhere, about any topic.
