Leadership has always been something we regard as an important part of any success. Look at any sports team who wins a major, and everyone immediately agrees that the coach is a great leader. Funny how we always look to someone else for leadership and rarely see the leadership we offer ourselves. There are leaders, to motivate others into leaders, giving people the thoughts and feelings that generate an idea that makes them into a leader, and then there are people who expect to work as a leader. These leaders are highly motivated people who will have the greatest success, regardless of what they seek leadership in.

Have you ever seen one of these types of leaders ... They motivate themselves based on a moral code of responsibility. They do not expect someone to do their job and they certainly did not expect to sit back and wait for someone to say go, it's time to start your project. These people are not looking for compliments, they do not care if they make the project the way another thinks they should, but they do lead to success.

Online marketing is full of people who want to be rich and famous, but do not have the necessary personal leadership skills, in order to be successful and climb to the top. They are the ones who are quick to blame the system, whether it be a magic box they bought, the goods they where sold, as the real leader presented the programme to them. For every online marketer that is a failure, someone could come along, take up the failing business and make it a great success story, and you know what? you probably know someone who could do that.

If you plan to do online marketing, then you need to look inside hard, and see if you feel that you are the leader. It 'also important that you make every effort to align yourself with someone who has proven to do what you're trying to do. Leaders lead by example, and many of them are proud to help others find the mantra of leadership ... It will take time to choose a great company and align yourself to a leader ...

Re: Who inspired you to start? - Hi Evan, I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. It is a pity to see faces disappear from the moderators' list, but I think Kevin and Evan are right to strive for a strong team. Kevin and Evan: Based on what I have seen of his participation on other forums, I am sure Trent would be an excellent moderator and an asset to this forum.
webinars on Autoreponders - Evan, putting it that way you may have a point - the effort doesn't seem to pay off. If you could score webinars with people you profile I can see word getting around and that driving traffic to your site and exposing them to the content you already have on the site. Based on the types of businesses approaching you to do these webinars you could also have them set the whole thing up and all you are doing is exposing it to the group. Example a webinar on Autoresponders and Email Marketing. I'm sure there are companies out there that will do the whole setup for you.
