It's important to know exactly what your business specializes in and how you are going to do your sales and marketing. Your time should be spent on Marketing and Sales, both are equally important and these are the only two things that will make you money.   • What does this mean?
  • What do you Specialize in?
  • What makes you unique?
  • This USD should be the answer to your clients problems?
  • Make is simple and clear.
  • Spend a lot of time on this, getting it right.
  • Ask your clients, what their problems are?
  • What do your clients like about you?
What is your "Niche"

  • Do your research?
  • Why are you different?
  • Why should your customers come to you?
  • What makes you different from your competitors?
Mission/Goal

  • What is your Goal/s?
  • This needs to be very specific?
  • What you want to achieve?
  • What is your Net Profit for a specific timeframe?


Business Name What type of Business? Sole, Partnership, Company or Trust Trading Name Will you have a Trading Name, you need to register this, will have need to have a Trademark? Client Profile

  • Define your client, write down everything about your client - sex, occupation, children, partner, problems, house, car etc.
  • If you know who your client is, then you can come up with the Sale Copy to market to your client.
  • In this you need to talk to your client as if they where sitting next to you.
Plan - Products

  • Will you sell products?
  • What type of product?
  • Do you have to post this product, do clients come to you, do you email or download this product
Are you providing a service? - Websites What type of Website? Ecommerce, Blog etc - Marketing Copywriting, how are you going to get this out to your client - direct marketing, flyers, mail outs, emails, websites, smart phones, coupons, competitions, press releases, the list goes on...... Extend your Planning: (1) Copywriting and Marketing (2) Writing Books, Articles, Blogs, Newsletters, Software Make a list and milestones of

  • What are you going to do? Be very specific
  • How you are going to do it?
  • When will you have this completed by?
Test and Measure

  • With any Business, you MUST Test and Measure with the Market, to so what your clients want and how do they want it? Test, Test and Test again.
  • Copywriting
  • Type of Marketing
  • Website conversion
  • Traffic to your site
  • Traffic to your Office, Store
  • Clients new
  • Clients existing
  • Clients to purchasers
  • Product costs and purchases
This is a just a summary of the process you should be looking at for your New or Existing Business. I do have comprehensive Business Plans, Business Strategic Plans, Client Profiles, Personal Profiles that can help you with your Business. If you plan Remember: Listen to your customer. If you owned a restaurant and 1 person didn't like the soup, that's no big deal, but if 10 people didn't like the soup, change the soup. Your waiting staff, should be asking your clients questions or asking for referrals.
