Political savvy can be defined as applying subtle and ethical methods of gaining power or a competitive edge. It means

Most of all identify your "Political Blind Spot "- not consciously seeing the extent to which informal influence shapes the decision making process. By avoiding or denying the existence of political savvy, one can underestimate how political behavior can stall or destroy careers, reputations and overall performance. Most of all hone your political savvy skills in order to defend and protect yourself from others' devious political tactics.
