Don’t waste your time with a mind-numbing laundry list of 20, 30, or more tasks. What you need, instead, is a statement of the results you must accomplish by performing all of the tasks. (As a would-be entrepreneur, if you don’t appreciate the difference between doing and accomplishing by now, don’t give up your day job.)

The above results-oriented job description style focuses attention on the main requirements, and organizes your responsibilities efficiently.

Our Results-Oriented Job Description uses a three-line structure, with the expected result in boldface caps to focus attention on the key issue—as well as to explain the significance of your actions.

Good luck!

Entrepreneurs are a different breed than Paid Employees- so it would be interesting to view the contrast.

It just makes me even more thankful to be part of this forum! It won't happen for a while yet, but I know it is something I will do within the next few years. As we allow ourselves to think bigger, the opportunity to impact people becomes much bigger as well. Does anyone else have a desire to really make a difference in the world through this means?
