Car Insurance - Gap Insurance

While many individuals are not familiar with gap car insurance, it can be an incredibly useful insurance type, especially to those who have just taken out a loan for a car or who are paying on a car or car loan. When it comes to car insurance companies, only a few reliable companies will pay out money to you if your car is wrecked in an accident or stolen. Most insurance companies will work to avoid paying out any money to you if your car is wrecked or stolen and this is where gap insurance comes into play. Simply put, gap insurance is a type of additional car insurance that will pay the difference between the true value of your car and what you might still have to pay on your car if your car is stolen or wrecked. Various groups of automobile drivers can benefit from gap car insurance. For example, those who have made a down payment of less than twenty percent of a car's actual value, it is not a bad idea for you to obtain a gap insurance policy. Also, any persons who have a loan out on their car of any size, gap insurance is a great investment. Having this type of insurance in these situations will ensure that if your car were to be stolen or wrecked you will be covered for these occurrences. Gap insurance can save you thousands of dollars if these happen.

Before you get into purchasing gap car insurance, there are a few things you should know. First and foremost, if a car dealer informs you that you must purchase gap insurance with your vehicle, you should know this is not true. It is better to purchase this type of insurance once you have actually bought your vehicle. Secondly, you must buy your gap insurance from a reputable dealer or insurance company. Some dealers are not licensed to sell you gap car insurance, therefore, the insurance is likely not legitimate.

Especially since you can obtain a grant when used in combination with FHLB advance. The grant can be used for anything you want for your business (down payment to a seller or franchise fees, working capital...etc.) This puts the borrower in a pretty good position.
