Young Car Insurance Buyers: A Teen Driver’s Guide to Car Insurance

The next most exciting time in life is becoming a teenager. That is next to learning how to drive. With that comes getting your hands on young car insurance buyers guides to learn all that you can about the importance of automobile insurance, how to get affordable rates, and safe driving tips.

Obtaining car insurance is not so tough. The only thing you should become familiar with is to learn that new drivers and young drivers don’t have a driving history. This means you don’t have a track record to prove you are a safe driver. Because of this teens are put into a higher risk category until they reach a certain age. High risk means higher rates.

There are some things you can do to get the lowest possible rates even if you are labeled as high risk. The first beneficial rule is car selection. Insurance companies will offer a better rate to a teen if the car is typically a used car with standard safety features. If it is not a sport or luxury model you should be safe. New cars, fancy cars, sports vehicles, and SUV’s carry higher rates because they will cost more to repair or replace.

Develop safe driving habits early and practice them when you operate a vehicle. Tips would be not to talk on a cell phone. Be cautious and alert to traffic signals, stop signs, and pedestrians. Not speeding, drinking while driving, and going a safe speed through residential areas will help reduce accidents, earn you a safe driving history and lower future insurance premiums.

zipcar saves Gas cost zipcar saves Gas cost - The gas prices haven't affected me in anyway. I use the Transit system and ZipCar. I love Zipcar 'cos it has Gas and Insurance included in the prices and they haven't raised that for a couple of years now.
Magnetic Ads - Biz Idea Magnetic Ads - Biz Idea - Attn Young Entrepreneurs looking for a Business Idea. This came to me while sitting in Traffic for about 1 hour while looking and laughing at ridiculous bumper stickers. Note: this idea is rough but will help get the idea-momentum going. Idea: Sell advertising on the back of cars in the form of reusable magnetic signs (about the length of 2 or 3 bumper stickers) Most people shouldn't have reservations to participating if they get a cut of the monthly fee you charge the company advertising and it doesn't hurt their car. An example of a Magnetic Ad: Geico: I saved 15% on my Car Insurance. Call 1-800-U-SAVE-15 You don't have to pay the cost associated with creating the Magnetic Ad because you will advise the company that this belongs to them and you can get them in touch with someone who created reusable magnets. So your basically managing two sides: 1. Company's that want to advertise 2. People in your neighborhood (to start) who will put the ads on their car. Bigger cars can have more than one ad. Happy Money Making!

Should FDIC Worry about FHLB? Should FDIC Worry about FHLB? - What do you think the impact would be on the Bank Insurance Fund with Federal Home Loan Advances for business? Especially since you can obtain a grant when used in combination with FHLB advance. The grant can be used for anything you want for your business (down payment to a seller or franchise fees, working capital...etc.) This puts the borrower in a pretty good position. Should FDIC worry about FHLB?
