Effective Networking = Business/personal Success

I quite positive I am not the first and will not be the last person to tell you that you can accelerate your business and personal success by effectively building and maintaining your network.

"You need to network more," anonymous Marketing consultant.

"Stop cold calling, start networking," anonymous Sales Trainer.

"Go to more networking events," anonymous Chamber of Commerce Executive Director.

"Pass out more business cards," anonymous Professional Association President.

Everywhere you turn, everyone you meet, every time you ask, well intentioned people are telling you the secret to success is networking. The problem is no one, at least until now, has been able to tell you how to network effectively. Two friends of mine, Glen and Ben, have put together the most comprehensive list of networking tips, tricks, and techniques that I have ever seen. Better known as the "Inspiration Agents", these two have traveled far and wide helping individuals, companies, profession associations and Chambers of Commerce build their personal success, company success and members success by teaching effective networking.

Numerous publications and media outlets have sought their insight including The Today Show, Inc. Magazine, and the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Now you too can gain insight into the secrets of building and maintaining effective networks because today they have launched their new e-book 101 Networking Nuggets. I highly recommend you take a look and then decide.

Re: How can a social networking site make serious money? Re: How can a social networking site make serious money? - Hi There, It is quite interesting, that some Social Networking do produce an income. I think testimonials are always a benefit to share. See one below: This Social Network has changed my life! Every night is a Friday night and everyday is a Saturday!! Because of it, I have been able to leave the workforce 10 years early. It has given me back my life. Many of us would like to retire early. I am sure there are many more. The point is of focusing with great determination. The ongoing challenge is to stay focussed and not be sidetracked into a newer scheme or so. Also I have read, during this financial turmoil, more people turn to Social Networking for various reasons.

Unless you do this full time (the networking I mean). MichelleJ

Re: Money Does Not Guarantee Happiness Re: Money Does Not Guarantee Happiness - Thanks for singling this point out, Chris. One book that comes to mind that covers it in an overall approach is "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey. He addresses our inner life and the way it can change our effectiveness home and at work. There are corporations who have taken this model and effectively molded their business around it.
