A Simple Exercise

Grab a pen and paper. Write down your age. Subtract that from 78. Multiply this number by 12. What do you have? This number represents the number of months you have yet to live if you were to statistically reach the average age of 78 (women may get a little longer - statistically).

Its time to realize what is important in our lives. Realize our dreams. Live in abundance. Do what is important to us. You know what the 80/20 rule represents? We spend 20 percent of our time producing 80 percent of our results. We spend 80 percent of our time on frivolous activities - Watching TV, Shuffling Papers, Reading Junk Mail, Sitting in Traffic, Chasing Our Tails?!?

Now we never get back the time gone. But, You know what?!? We can live the way we want going forward. Yes, we can live our life on our terms going forward. We do not have to trade time for money. We do not have to spend time on mindless activities. We can focus, prioritize and live the life the way it was intended. Live in abundance.

Easier said than done - well - in a word - NO! Here's the thing - success comes from purposeful action - definite purpose. You definitely want to succeed and enjoy your life and definitely want to provide for yourself and/or your family. Then you need to have a definite plan, a true desire and a definite purpose to pull this off. You have "X" amount of months left as per the exercise we just performed. I choose to spend those months focused on what is important. I choose to put a plan into action that is going to provide a residual income. Definition - Residual Income: Cash Flow that survives your effort. Set something up and let it pay you time and time again. Residual income is the catalyst to financial freedom and what will allow you to live life on your terms - no longer trading time for money, taking orders, punching a time clock or making quotas.

How will you get there? My plan is though an automated marketing system. Set it up and let it run. The internet has allowed us to access a mind boggling amount of people that are now our marketplace. We can reach this market 24/7 and we can literally make sales in our sleep.

I am a big fan of Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich". I will end with a few of his quotes:

"Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything."

"First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination."

"It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed."

"The starting point of all achievement is desire."

Dedicated to Your Success!!

I am an entrepreneur dedicated to helping others attain their success. I developed a strong work ethic at an early age. Too young to be added to payroll, I began sweeping parking lots & delivering newspapers. I quickly learned I control my own financial situation. Being class president in high school & coaching the boxing team, leadership roles were taken on early in my life. I earned a degree in Marketing and then started a career in restaurants, however nights, weekends and traveling were not going to be conducive to family life. I entered the mortgage industry, experienced success and founded Maximum Mortgage Services in 2002. I am now married to a wonderful wife, Sherri and we have 3 beautiful children. We believe in the value of giving back to the community and we are very involved in local charities. I am on the board of directors of Auberle and am the volunteer chairman for their biggest fundraiser, Voices Carry. The internet has opened up new doors for income opportunities and I seize the opportunity to create a residual income online. I work this business with the mindset that One can only achieve great success by assisting others in attaining their success.

Re: Kevin's Forum Mastermind Group Re: Kevin's Forum Mastermind Group - Kevin sorry to hear about your health setbacks, just take it easy until everything heals, as you will make it worse otherwise and it is not so much now, but later in life that these things come back to bite you. Once you have recovered you can get back to doing the things you want to do. Exercise is very important (if you are healthy) especially for people like us who spend so much time in front of a computer, so I make a point of going to the gym, usually first thing in the morning about 6.30am and then begin my day when I get back. I am slowly clawing my way back up as far as my business is concerned. Trying to spend more time doing article marketing etc. Unfortunately the day J.O.B. also takes some of my time, but that is what pays the bills so has to be done. MichelleJ
