Above-average KNOW THYSELF For Business Leaders
As you undoubtedly know, the expression ‘'KNOW THYSELF'' is an admonition attributed to Socrates (470 BC - 399 BC).
For the majority of people, improving their self-knowledge seems no doubt a rather simple thing to carry out. At some point, however, they may find it not as easy as it sounds. The reason it sounds easy is that we tend to harbor the illusion of knowing ourselves because we know our name, we have documents confirming not only our name, but also our height, weight, and color of hair and eyes. Furthermore, we may think we know the limits of what we are able to do, or we have confidence about our potential, or we are convinced that there is no limit to what we can accomplish. All those attitudes show that we interpret the meaning of ''KNOW THYSELF'' in accordance with the things we have learned about the world and about ourselves in our upbringing and through social conditioning.
Nevertheless, for the most part, people appear to be satisfied with their knowledge about themselves - until they discover errors in that self-knowledge or find they have misinterpreted some information that underlies that knowledge. This then makes them doubt the correctness of their past self-knowledge. For instance, a person might discover that in his school days he came to the wrong conclusions when he studied the writings of a particular psychologist, because now he follows the theory of a different psychologist. Or, in his reading of psychology a person might have come across the theory of human types and its connection with the enneagram, the latter being a very popular subject among psychologists. He may have encountered systems of typology that use anywhere from six to nine, to eighteen, and even more, types of people. He may then have discovered the esoteric origin of the classification of people into types. This might lead to an introspective conviction that learning to apply typology to himself and to his life is bound to improve the results of his activities and heighten his satisfactions.
Eventually, this may, or may not, turn out to improve his personal life, or his professional or business life, or both.

From the very beginning of his training career, which spans over more than 45 years, Fritz developed his own training material in which he incorporated a types-of-people methodology of self-knowledge and understanding of others. Fritz's typology is based on a system of six classic types which enables participants, during training, to gradually learn about themselves and about others as well as exchange that personal information with each other. In 2006 Fritz published the book ‘'CRazYZoo! ‘KNOW THYSELF' made easy'' which is a simple and personally meaningful method of learning about the six classic types and is presented in the form of an action-filled fable which also allows the reader to decide for himself to which of the six classic types he belongs. To-day, all ThreeBrainSynergy manuals and e-learning material are based on the types-of-people approach.
