MLM Businesses: What Is The Deciding Factor In Your Success In MLM

The microwave, instant gratification, entitlement, lottery mentality is what causes an extremely high rate of people in MLM businesses to fail. You can have the best marketing system, product, and comp plan but if you are not consistent then you will not see success. Consistency beats out talent any day in a home based internet marketing business.

This is not a “how to” per se about being consistent but more of a “Why”. This industry will make or break a person. It actually exposes your most inner darkest secrets that you may not even realize about yourself. How a person shows up in their MLM businesses when the going gets tough is indicative of how they handle those same type of situations in life.

When you hold that person accountable to that type of mentality they dismiss it and jump to the next big network marketing business opportunity. Jumping from company to company is not the solution to the problem. That person has to work on themselves internally. In order for things to change you have to change.

You can tell you the benefits of being consistent over time in MLM businesses. It’s very simple. You actually start to see the results you want. It not only elevates your mental game but it also makes sponsoring reps way easier. The problem that people have is staying in the game long enough. Most people are just in the game.

But those that are consistent and have nothing else to fall back on or want too in their MLM businesses play the game to win. They have the mentality that even if it takes a year for me to get where I want in my home based internet marketing business I’m hanging in there. The marketing efforts start to compound over time and all of a sudden there is an explosion in their business.

Understand this one thing. When a rocket takes off it utilizes over 90% of its fuel in this stage. After that it is smooth sailing. Take that understanding and apply it to your business. Start being consistent and over time you will get what you want.

What is your hit ratio? What is your hit ratio? - Like most entrepreneurs I have more ideas for where I want to take my business than I can handle. I believe in the "fail early, fail often" philosophy and try to find small ways to get started on a project to see if it has any legs. I would estimate that for every 50 things I try, most of them don't have an impact for me, 10 of them have a slightly positive impact, and 1 hits it really big. Some of my big wins over the past few years have been: * Learning the ins and outs of search engine optimization to drive traffic * Putting up and optimizing Google AdSense ads to monetize the website * Deciding to be the leader in profiling famous entrepreneurs online * Recruiting outside authors to help contribute to the website content (now have over 25,000 pages) * Creating the entrepreneur forums * Bringing on staff to help cope with the daily amount of work required to keep things running smoothly What is your hit ratio and some of your big wins?
Should i get a patent? Should i get a patent? - Deciding whether to apply for a patent involves weighing up a number of advantages and disadvantages. Advantages You get protection for a pre-determined period, allowing you to keep competitors at bay. You can then exploit your invention yourself. Alternatively, you can license your patent for others to exploit it, or sell it, as with any asset. This can provide an important source of revenue for your business. Indeed, some businesses exist solely to collect the royalties from a patent they've licensed - perhaps in combination with a registered design and trade mark. See the page in this guide on how to license your patent. Disadvantages Your patent application means making certain technical information about your invention publicly available. It might be that keeping the details of your invention secret will keep competitors at bay more effectively. You'll need to be prepared to defend your patent. Taking action against an infringer can be very expensive. On the other hand, a patent can act as a deterrent, making defence unnecessary. See the page in this guide on how to defend your patent.

When I was younger it was probably 1/5 things i would try would work out. I would come up with 100 different ideas but only act on some of them. My biggest issue was not following all the way through, or having to much going on at one time. I read a quote today that fits with this idea. “A minute's success pays the failure of years.” - Robert Browning
Re: Success Re: Success - I study success intently, and would like to share: Here's two excellent and nearly identical success-formulas from a couple of the world's masters. FIRST FORMULA: 1. Passionate Desire 2. Clear, Definite Purpose 3. Committed Decision 4. Take Action In Faith (Bonus Secret Sauce: 5. Repeat Consistently) I made a video about this, but am not allowed to link it yet. Google "Ryze Success Steps" for it. Oh, and this is Napoleon Hill's (Master Of Success Laws)'s Formula. SECOND FORMULA: 1. Passionate Desire 2. Understand It Is Already Done (Faith) 3. Relax & Allow It To Unfold (Go about your life calmly) This one is courtesy of Abraham-Hicks (inspiration for the movie The Secret). Hope that helps!
