The Question about Marketing every Networkmarketer should be asking

 

 

Every day I can predict the same kind of questions I will be asked in this industry. Normally, people ask, "What is the best traffic source right now?" or, "How do I learn to close sales on the phone ?" or the classic one is "What is the secret how to make so much money?"People somehow have a preconceived notion that that all successful people in this industry have secret meetings and exchange ideas of how to generate the highest possible traffic .If I said this is not the question I would be asking they would probably think I was stark raving mad What if I said this question should be what is the single most important thing to focus on if you want to succeed in this industry? Every network-marketer should ask this question but the question is what is the answer? or more importantly what is the secret? Music maestro please..................

 The secret that these top earners had to make a lot of money wasn't the traffic source ... it was how they handled the traffic. I learned that what separates people in MLM that are making little or no money from people who are making six and seven figure incomes is POSITIONING.

 

That's it! The real secret. That's the secret you need to know. But what is positioning? Quite simply leaders position themselves as top earners and are viewed by others in this manner. There are many ways they may position themselves, their status in the company, be judged by the house they live in ,the car they drive, the vacations they go on. Beyond this outer layer they possess inner qualities of self belief because they are educated, knowledgeable and associate themselves with other top producers. If you knew nothing about this person how then could you judge them? Search their name, look at press releases, articles, videos or any form of media they have contributed to their organisation or society or visit their website etc. There are more and more people online nowadays. If people are seeking to join a business they are looking for two things

  1. Someone they relate to and trust
  2. Someone they admire, consider to be a leader or expert

 

What lessons can be learned from this exercise? Your goal to succeed is to focus on you and your personal branding and not on your business or product .The internet gives you a platform to shine to the whole world and even if you are not yet successful or have only recently joined you have an opportunity to make your presence felt and be one of the great leaders on the internet. You can still win the game.
