We must step outside our Comfort Zone in order to succeed

Being an entrepreneur is an exciting journey in any one's life because it brings about real change. Breaking away from old traditions of working for your boss, following orders and have decisions made for you is replaced by the exact opposite. The problems we face as human beings are that we are creatures of habit, and we are comfortable living our lives where somebody else is making decisions for us, giving us orders as long as we receive some form of remuneration for our efforts and we can justify this rationally.

When you work for yourself you have to question everything; your drive, your ambition, your goals. What am I am going to do that will make me succeed in my business? You will have to organise a routine in your day without anyone forcing you to. You need to be passionate and energetic in your business because you will struggle, you will have hurdles and you will have to do and learn things in order to succeed that are outside your comfort zone. The greatest hurdle you will probably face in your efforts to succeed is changing your mindset, changing how you think and feel about everything; your business, your life and your goals. You have come from a life where the process of thinking has been taken away from you and you are craving major change but you must realise that if you bring old habits of thinking and of action into your new business they will not suffice to get the results you want. You have to rewire the brain, abandon all negative thoughts or fear of failure, focus on where you are, what you have going for you and what are you going to create.

Start with this..... Be grateful for being alive. De-stress the mind! The mind cannot function in a stressed state. Write down five positive things in your life daily and allow these to be the driving force for your actions. From a business perspective, study patterns and formulas that have worked with leaders and top producers in your business and apply these also.Allow the business you have joined or about to join be an incubator for your energy, visualise your thoughts ,learn skills, become more and more educated.

The final thought of the day is this .If your brain is stuck in a rut, it cannot move forward if you dwell in a

negative state. Break away literally from any form of negativity; your own negative thoughts, the

television, conversations about recession doom and gloom. Focus on being positive and discipline yourself to refuse to be entertained by the masses who have been wired to focus on the negativity in our world.

The majority of people don't really believe that they can truly achieve their dreams, so that is the first step anyone must take and once you have that faith you will get what you want most in life. Re: Let's talk about financial stress Re: Let's talk about financial stress - Well then should an entrepreneur be more concerned about what his/her competitors are doing or what he/she needs to do in order to succeed? You could always look at it like the "glass if half full" rather than half empty. For example, if your company is struggling during the financial crisis then maybe it will help to take out some of your competitors in the process.
Re: THE SECRET TO SUCCESS IS ALL IN YOUR HEAD...RIGHT NOW!!! Re: THE SECRET TO SUCCESS IS ALL IN YOUR HEAD...RIGHT NOW!!! - Hey Barry, [quote="Barry Sarner":ev3dumxj]"Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing." - Abraham Lincoln WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS STATEMENT ???[/quote:ev3dumxj] It's true on two levels. Level 1 - Doing something for the first time to succeed. Level 2 - Coming back from failure and not resting until you've regained success. The scares maybe deep. The wounds tender to the touch. But it will always be man's resolve or lack there of that defines the limits he is willing to go to, to gain or regain succeed. Books, audios, videos, courses, seminars, webinars, & etc. are important and I can't get enough. But nothing can take the place of what a man must decide to do, deep down within himself, if he wants to succeed.
