This is 4-30 a.m. in Mauritius and I have to speak at HR conference in hotel Le- Meridian. Sea facing room, open sky, cold wings and full moon. I am with my cup of coffee recalling session of day one.

Competency means an event, can be made possible. You're inside guts to occur an event. Slowly you are doing your work and world comes to know slowly.

Contribution means does it make any difference in the life? Finding meaning of the action. "Only those who have learned the power of sincere and selfless contribution experience life's deepest joy: true fulfillment." Profoundly asserted by Anthony Robbins.

I see lot of teenagers playing video games with competency and commitment for an hour's but does it make any difference to their lives? I find lot of drive vehicles with high speed for hours; does it make any difference in the lives? I find people keep themselves engage in community connected website (sorry: face book , twitter) but does it make any difference in the life.?

We need to find out meaning of our work. Time passing life is nothing but mercy killing of life.

Atharva Veda asserted "Society cannot progress unless each citizen makes his contribution and performs his duties." Let us create contributory chapters in the lives given to all of us once by infinite intelligence. I know you are a contributor with commitment to optimise competency.

Re: Gap Between Rich and Poor Widens - This a true posting. But this issues has been from the foudation of the world. Not everyone will be rich and not everyone will be poor. What makes the difference is desire and choice everyone is making. I read a qoute from a book sometimes back that: At the top of the ladder of success, few people are there, while at the bottom, there are croud. Pitching without getting Poached - Hi Kevin, This is a great question and one I get ALOT! The short answer is a non disclosure agreement with a strict confidentiality clause and non-compete. Sadly, it doesnt always work. I recently hired a copywriter to edit some of my women's leadership work - and now I find out she is speaking on Women's leadership to my own Women's group. Eek! In any case, I'm the expert so I doubt it will go far. You do need to be careful and follow your gut on who to trust and how much information to share. Most people are honourable but you do need to cover your butt. J
Re: Suspicious/Problematic Users - I hate to beat a dead horse on this because I know I've mentioned it probably 10 times before, but this is just one more reason why I really think we need more global moderators! Don't get me wrong, I think Evan and GT do an excellent job. But sometimes neither of you can be here for several hours at a time and when that happens spam can just sit there making the forums look horrible. If it's one or two posts it's not usually a big deal but every once in a while it's a bunch of them and sometimes it's adult in nature, so that really looks bad. Not only that but it will maybe ease GT's mind a bit knowing that he has more help in deleting the spam, so he doesn't have to constantly be making sure he comes here. Just a thought! Having moderators be "global" doesn't really change much. We still have the exact same powers that we currently have in our own sections of the forum but instead it will be for any section. Not a huge change but can make a huge difference in a positive way.
