DOING NOTHING HAS SIGNIFICANT VALUE IN THE LIFE

It was a beautiful, Sunday morning in Porbandar India as I park my car near the Kirti Mandir. It is a place where M.K.Gandhi was born. I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. I select one corner and seat on the floor with define posture in Yoga literature and paying attention to my breath.

"Anyone who wants a high five minutes let me know, I will direct you to seat with yourself. In fact, we all need time for ourselves and doing nothing, except meeting ourselves.

Can we seat with ourselves? Looking inside, traveling inside, watching deep breathing, absolute silence, absolute focus on the inside of us.

Welcome to mutual discovery.

Trust me; we took ourselves on the main road of the life as it is a road less travel by us.

We can different experiences. Watch it. Observe it. Record it. Having fun out of it. Smile on it. It's all great. It's all happened in few short of minutes and that's all is also life.

Which is the one of the best day of your life?

In my eyes, when you do nothing for 5 minutes and meeting yourself.

We can review our business decisions, our interactions with colleagues, the quality of our work, the way we manage others, and our attention. The solution, though, is simple. All we have to do is nothing. But here's the trick: it's important to do it regularly, at least a few minutes a day.

Your mind will, of course, wander. The goal isn't to stay focused on your breath the whole time. It's to I've only just begun to practice meditating regularly. What I've noticed is that my mind spends most of its time planning and worrying about the future or going over and over the past. How will I approach that conversation? What will I say to that employee? What time should I leave for the meeting? Or Why did I say that? Did I respond appropriately? I should have acted differently when she asked me to help.

Here's the most admirable experience: sitting and doing nothing has made me significantly more efficient. 20 minutes of meditation helps me avoid hours of time lost in unproductive thought, nonconstructive comments, and unstrategic actions.

My personal feeling is that it is a most productive time and helping us in driving our goals of the life .In my eyes, it is a main issue of the life. Reviewing your relationship, decisions, actions, and efforts, communication in solitary and focusing on the next course of action is a way of life.

As I exited Kirti mandir at the end of my personal meeting, I felt energized. Present. Aware of my feelings but not controlled by them. Which was good practice? Leadership means practicing good practices.

Re: Is it better to become an entrepreneur at an early age? Re: Is it better to become an entrepreneur at an early age? - I think the best time to become an entrepreneur is not about your age, but your LIFE STAGE. In my opinion, it's ideal to start by your business before you have a spouse/kids/family and mortgage and just after you've worked a few years to save up some capital/work experience (which is easiest to do while still living at home with your parents. No shame in being able to save $1000-2000+ each month).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - BARBARA, LONG LIFE AND PROSPERITY![/quote:1k77iu30] Thanks very much, Topeyinka! But I was really just joking - I know no one here could have known my birthdate! ! I was just wondering if an automated "Birthday greeting" sent from the forums would be a good idea...
Re: The secret to happiness Re: The secret to happiness - Hey GT You have a great attitude. I was a 4 pack a day smoker and I stopped about 8 years ago. Nobody thought it possible that Barry Sarner could ever stop smoking. It turned out to be the biggest lesson I ever learned in MY LIFE. The lesson: How could you fail at anything if you just refuse to give up? I slipped and slided for 8 months but even when I messed up, and I did alot, I never threw myself under the bus. I just started all over again the next day. I CHOSE to start again the next day . . . I CHOSE You must work on it every day of your life. Just know that you have the choice to start from scratch the next day. . . . . AND THAT IS OK TO DO. NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP
