LEADER LISTEN PEOPLE, RIGHT NOW - NEVER LATER.

We usually says to people, ‘talk to me later’. Even, we hardly look up to them (eye contact) and communicate as we are occupying in technology. I found people are busier in electronic gadgets and missing charm of meeting live people. Most of the time we give importance to technology, instead of live people. Isn’t it? Listen people completely. Do not cut their thoughts before they actually finished. (People do cut the thoughts of the people as if they know it). To listen closely and reply well is the highest perfection .Listen intently till the people are exhausted.

Life is “now “or never. Do it now have impact in the life. Leaders always respect the power of ‘now’ and listen them. This moment is the truth of the life. This truth is very well understood by leader, that’s why leader listen his executives, managers and team members.

Once we listen our people we have the following advantages.

1/ People down the line believe that they have a person to share their emotions.

2/ as a leader we come to know the actual status of the situation.

3/ indirectly, leader give the confidence to the people and power to communicate.

4/ People down the line feel that they have a shoulder to cry or spine support to stand tall.

5/ Leader offer solutions or decisions to the matter.

“The most important thing in communication is to hear what isn’t being said. “

Re: Winton Churchill Talks About "Email Marketing" Re: Winton Churchill Talks About "Email Marketing" - Hi Shri, I misinterpreted your invitation to "download the show later". I just clicked the link and I "get it" now! It looks very interesting so I will definitely LISTEN later today and report back here. Best wishes, David H
Re: The Celebrity Apprentice Finale Re: The Celebrity Apprentice Finale - I really do understand what you are saying, Kevin. I'm complaining because ethics are very important to me. In the real world, I want people on my team who are easy to work with and that I can trust. To me, it's not all about money, but I do understand this is why Piers won. I feel it's important to find the best LEADER who can still make money. A great leader can inspire people on his/her team to use their creativity and all their assets in a very successful way. A sketchy leader could hinder this process in the long run. For example, Piers and Amarosa could be efficient, but working in a toxic environment with either of them could get to me in the long run! I like what you said about Carol... she has been my favourite to win for a long time. I would have chosen her for sure! She knew business was business, but she didn't have to be unethical about it. Quite honestly, Trace was not my choice to win, but he was a better option for me than Piers. I'd love to work with Carol any day. Who would you want to work with?
Re: Video Blogs: Yes or No? Re: Video Blogs: Yes or No? - I think different kinds of videos - and podcasts - need different treatment. When I produced some podcasts back in April I felt that detailed notes were needed to supplement the recording or provide an alternative for the site visitor. With a short "talking head" video, I would add a brief introduction to cover the main points. In both cases, resource links are very helpful. When it comes to consuming the information, I don't sit there and passively watch the videos, but LISTEN to them and just check back from time to time usually while doing other routine jobs. As I've said before, I save up videos and listen to them while packing orders. It's just like listening to the radio while ironing! === Edit: Oh, so, to answer the question... Video blogs, yes or no? Yes, fine to have a video blog, but I agree that some kind of text-based support is important both the the site visitors and presumably for the search engines too. The more choice visitors have, the better.
Re: Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? Re: Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - You make a great point abotu the sales industry GT. Unfortunately, sales businesses have a really high attrition rate. From car salesmen to real estate or insurance agents, anywhere from 60-80% (depending on the chosen market) fail and quit without ever making a single sale. Since most people think of MLM as a sales business, it's no wonder the attrition rate is that high or higher. The fact is, MLM is NOT a sales business. It's a PEOPLE business, or more specifically, a Coaching and mentoring business. As for an example, I do have one, as you would expect. But, rather than pitching my company here, I would suggest learning the basics of what makes a successful mlm company. A mentor of mine, Michael Dlouhy developed the 5 Pillars to Network Marketing. If the company has all 5 pillars, you can almost guarantee success. If not, the chances are not good. Michael developed this over 20 years ago. He knew MLM could work, but had no luck himself. SO, he joined over 100 companies in under 2 years just so he could compare and see what worked, and what didn't. Bottom line, you need a 5 pillars company if you hope to be successful. Bill

But to answer your question about who I would want to work with... I'd say it really depends on the task. For instance, I think... -Jennie Finch and Lennox Lewis seem like really nice people with laid back personalities and would make great co-workers. -I could see myself working for Carol or vice versa. -if I wanted to win on "The Apprentice", I'd pick Piers Morgan for his rolodex and Gene Simmons because he's the ultimate salesperson.
