Nick Vujicic is an example of leadership.

Today, he is conducting motivational talks across the globe .He is influencing lives over the millions. Fishing, golfing, swimming and living life. He had gone to university and completes his graduation. He said," I am happy. I am living.

He has no legs but he play musical drums. He has no arms but he writes.

In his video, he share, "it is impossible for me to get back. Do you think you I was responsible? But I knew if I could not get back I will be fail for life time. Even if I fail 100 times and I gave up. I will be never able to get back. I do not want to finish. I have tried 100 times to get up. I try again and again. It's not an end. Are you going to finished so?

Re: Business Women Peer Mentoring Spotlight Re: Business Women Peer Mentoring Spotlight - Hi Everyone, Gosh, I REALLY appreciate your concrete feedback. This was far more than I expected and I'm glad you said what you thought straight out. Each of you have shared something of value and I want to take some more time to think and really go over what each of you have said. However, I can see there are some things I need to change right away. What an interesting point about a NEW program perhaps making people think they are guinea pigs! This is NOT what I want to convey! It's funny how we can see some things so clearly in others while not always seeing it for ourselves! I must admit there are a few things I've been meaning to change (like my bio which is very outdated). Obviously, these things need to be higher on my priority list. You caught me like the plumber who puts his clients first and doesn't get around to fixing his own tap! As far as my target market, I do feel quite strongly about working with Women Leaders and doing Leadership Coaching with them. It's non-negotiable in my books. In my Executive Coaching training, the terms "Leaders" and "Executives" are interchangable. To me, an Executive is a Leader and so is the Business Woman or Entrepreneur who is CEO of her own business. I love working with decision makers! What I did learn is that I need to avoid opening up the Leadership term beyond what I described above. I'm also wondering if there is a misunderstanding with the general public as to what Leadership Coaching really is. Leadership Coaching is all about developing your leadership skills, both as a people manager and in more effectively running and growing the business. There is ALWAYS room for growth in some way. As well, sometimes, we just need a sounding board to clarify what our next BEST step is. In fact, if a woman thinks she has nothing to work on, then we aren't a good Client/Coach fit anyway. How can she grow if she doesn't see the value of expressing ALL of the great ability within her? How can her company grow if she doesn't see the value of strategic planning for the next best level? Thanks again to you all! I will go back to my website and really question whether I am conveying the right message. I got more than I bargained for in this Spotlight... you generously offered way more than I was asking. I think we could be on to something great for the Forum. Now it's time to let someone else have the spotlight. It would be great if everyone took a turn! In gratitude, Tami
Re: Ripping off minors Re: Ripping off minors - [quote:ogj013m5]A person can't live their life being bitter with "should'ves, could'ves or would'ves".[/quote:ogj013m5] Now THAT I agree with! It's a tough call sometimes, but moving on - and learning as you go - is the best response to a regrettable incident.... Regret is a reaction, recovery a response....
Re: 3 Ways I Used Twitter To Grow My Business This Week Re: 3 Ways I Used Twitter To Grow My Business This Week - Hi Olivia, It seems you are working in the area of leadership area. Is Leadership = Learning? I am looking for some good books on strategy? Which one do you recommend? Thanks, Robert
Honesty in your Advisory Board Honesty in your Advisory Board - While you are right, honestly means something different to each person, I take the view that each person commits to upholding the goals of the company. We do take the time to probe if something or someone doesnt 'feel' complete. That is the most important part of the discussion. Once you get to know each person its easy to see where personal preferences are put aside for the advancement of the goals. So I think a variety of all 3 options is going to be pretty much what you'll get. But the lens always has to be the goal of the company. For example, I have men on my women's leadership advisory team - they wont ever 'buy' the product, but their understanding of the market and the competitive landscape are really valuable. hope that helps. You have to figure out what honest means to YOU, and then get other people to share enough to come to an agreement on what honesty means for the group. J
Re: The Best Method for Online Marketing Re: The Best Method for Online Marketing - Hi, I assume by your opening paragraph that you are not a newbie at this but I will only say what others have said that success can only be achieved by building a presence on the internet is a series of a lot of things done regularly over a period of time. If I had to pick three things I would say SEO of your website, article writing for submission to your site and to directories and building backlinks by whatever means suites you best but that usually means commenting on articles in other high ranking sites (type in your keywords on Google and you will see the top sites in your niche and comment on articles in those if you can), forum posts, submit your site to as many directories as you can and any means you can think of to get backlinks. regards, Mal.
