Gautam Buddha was giving his courses to his disciples in a small
town. While, he was talking, an angry man rushed to him and started abusing
him. He was blasting on Buddha. Buddha continues to give his discourses without
being affected by his abuses publicly.
The next day, same time, same place, Buddha was talking to his disciples while the same man came in and Placed wraths of flowers against the feet of Buddha. Buddha was continuedwith his discourses.
At the end of the day, one of thedisciple agitatedsaid to Buddha that, “You should have got angry on the man when he came with the flower.”
Buddha replied: Today he was a different man, not the same man, his personality is changed today. Apart from it, he does what he can. He abuses me. He flower me. He had done it, not me. How I came in to picture. He can not govern me. I am governed by my senses. I had done what I should.”
I find in my life most of the time,we are governed by people. People driveus. In fact, we should drive our selves. Most of the people react to act.
