5 Keys to Your Personal Mission Statement

Mission statements are critical for successful companies. This is a well known fact throughout the business world. However, unfortunately the quest to create a mission statement often stops at the corporate level. This is not the case with leaders. Leaders have mission statements for both their professional and personal lives. A mission statement defines why they are here and the mark they have been commissioned to leave this world. Here are five steps to creating your "mission".

Knowing these five steps are critical to your proactive success. If you know clearly the answers to the above questions, you will be able to reach any goal effectively, efficiently and systematically. If you've joined with a leadership coach, be sure to consult them on this most important aspect of your journey. The input will be invaluable and the rewards will last a lifetime.

Mission Mantra Mission Mantra - Why don't we call it a mission mantra? It depends on the business and how much emphasis they put on a Mission Statement or Mantra. Most of the business I've dealt with don't really care to much about a Mission Statement and only believe they need one because everyone else has one.

Re: Has anyone a good idea to sort this problem? Re: Has anyone a good idea to sort this problem? - HI Michelle....... Keys and cellphones always end up at the bottom of the purse! That happens to me and other woman most of the time, for sure. So I would say put it in the side zipper area inside of the purse. Most Purses have that compartment. That usually helps it separate from all the other bulky things we carry in our purses, like make-up- bag, day minders, hand santiizers (whatever!)
Do you believe in "Mantra" or "Mission Statem Do you believe in "Mantra" or "Mission Statem - In the Strategic Management course I'm currently taking, my group and I were supposed to come up with an improved mission statement for the organization we're analyzing or explain why the existing one doesn't need to be revised. However, business expert and author, Guy Kawasaki says "Forget mission statements; they're long, boring, and irrelevant. No one can ever remember them-much less implement them. Instead, take your meaning and make a mantra out of it. This will set your entire team on the right course" ("The Art of the Start" 3). Which do you use for your own businesses: Mantra, Mission Statements or neither? Thanks
