Breaking Through - How to Remove "Stuck" from your vocabulary - Series 5 of 5
What is Stuck? It is often described as the feeling of being in the rut of a unwanted turn in your professional and personal journey.
Take these tips with you today:
ACTION
So many times I've heard how people intellectually "get it" when it comes to leadership, taking control, and being proactive in their lives and careers. However, one rule is indisputable: If you're not actually DOING it, you DON'T get it. You just know how to talk about it. That's all.
When you "get" something, that is an action word. You are pro-actively moving towards a certain objective. There's no longer any "talking" or lengthy conversations about what needs to be done. Instead, you are developing a track record of actions you have already put into place to accomplish your goal and you can already begin analyzing your progress and making adjustments. This type of mentality is a critical "point" in your journey. This determination will cause you to succeed over obstacles that you once thought were absolutely impossible. Next week, we'll discuss confronting those obstacles and actually looking forward to them as you live in expectation of their presence along your journey. Keep action in front of you. Do not settle. You will go farther than you ever thought possible.
