A simple secret to becoming a millionaire?

A simple secret to becoming a millionaire?

By Douglas Vermeeren

There are many programs, seminars, books and articles that claim to teach one valuable secret that will instantly transform a person into a financial success. Many of these programs have some beneficial information, but often the material presented offers little lasting value, practical insight or compensation to the purchaser. Is there one simple secret to becoming a millionaire?

We believe there is. That one secret is the principle of correct expectation.

The principle of correct expectation is simple. But you’ll remember what Leonardo Di Vinci said about simplicity. “The greatest complexity is to find simplicity.” Often the simplest things in our lives are the most difficult to find and implement. Correct expectation is having a clear and correct expectation of what it will take to create a life of financial success. Without a correct expectation of what will be required most people are not armed to create the financial future they want.

While there are many incorrect or incomplete expectations about becoming wealthy, here are three of the most popular get-rich-quick programs of today teach, partnered with the reality of what it actually takes to become financial abundant:

1) It’s easy, anyone can do it - It is true that anyone can learn to do it, the truth is that if anyone could do it immediately then there would be no poverty. To learn how to create wealth requires self discipline, making correct choices and using wisdom. Many of these any one can do, but they are things that are gained only through experience over time or under the supervision of a qualified mentor. There are very few millionaires or billionaires who are convinced the work is easy. It is rewarding, it is satisfying and it is attainable. But work, even hard work is required. You’ll find that even when you are involved in activities you enjoy there will still be work to do and days that will require your greatest strengths and focus to make it through. True Expectation: Anyone can do it if they are willing to get dedicated and get to work.

2) It can be done quickly, almost instantly. - While occasionally fortunes appear to be built instantly, a closer examination reveals that the majority of successes in life are created through unseen preparation that has proceeded the success. Pablo Picasso was once quoted as saying, “If people knew how much hard work I have put to get to where I am, they would not think me such a master.” All great things take preparation and time to develop. Success that is experienced without the proper investment of effort generally does not last. True Expectation: Success requires preparation and mastery.

 1. A guarantee of Success - There is no such thing as a sure thing. All opportunities to grow extreme wealth require effective evaluation. Often the slow and steady routes are considered the safest and most predictable. Yet in our research of several hundred millionaires we have found that speed of success increases at the same rate of your experience. The two evolve together.

Risk is eliminated as opportunities are effectively evaluated. Your skills to evaluate grow with experience. If someone assures you that they have done the evaluation on your behalf and the risk is gone you can rest assured that they will be the ones making the money. Learning how to evaluate risk levels effectively is something that comes with time and experience. Generally speaking this experience is gained through a series of positive and negative experiences.

True Expectation: Financial Risk is decreased as you become smarter. But there are no guarantees.

Re: How Much Of Ourselves Should We Give Away...? Re: How Much Of Ourselves Should We Give Away...? - what a great topic david start here, it reminds me of a movie i watched resently called KUNFU PANDA. The movie is all about keeping secret. there were two secret kept: the secret of dragon scroll and secret of cooking, later the secret was revealed which was no secret kept. the reason am relating this movie with the topic is that, you can give out 90% for free and hold on to 10% secret which will make you have more customer and traffic. I know some marketers both the internet and offline that will give you 100% product for free but whenever they want to sell to you the little one you will be glad to respond because of their gesture. What I would like to say is that giving out most of the product is a great marketing strategy to win more buyers to your future products.
What keeps you from just doing it? What keeps you from just doing it? - I think many people have limiting beliefs that keep them from following through on their ideas. Fear is certainly a factor, but even more limiting is the belief that it's too good to be true. Many people don't believe it is as simple as they dream it could be. And yet, some people have done exactly that and made millions. Our world has taught us that you have to work really hard to get money and that it's only for a few. What belief do YOU have about money? Is it keeping you from taking that leap on following through with a great business idea? I used to check in with money possibilities before I made a decision. Now I decide what I want to do and then figure out how to use money as a partner to get what I want. It's so freeing to not make decisions based around money fears... even if the funds aren't even there to follow through with it yet. I feel like I've finally stumbled on a secret. I'm not a millionaire yet, but I can tell you things are certainly going in a positive direction! What's your experience? What keeps you from just following through on your entrepreneurial idea?
Re: Your choice between... Re: Your choice between... -
If you have a choice between $100,000 and a book that guarantee you the secret on how to be a millioniare which one will you choose?[/quote:vaktl0u2] Both these choices require one to take ACTION. The $100,000 is a lot easier to take ACTION by simply accepting it - what you do with it (aka ACTION) to grow it into millions is another question. The millionaire book option requires you to take MASSIVE ACTION which unfortunately most people are not cut out for - that's why "get rich quick" schemes and promises are still flourishing
Successful Young Entrepreneur Makes First Million In 10 Mont Successful Young Entrepreneur Makes First Million In 10 Mont - Could this press headline be about you? Would you like it to be about you 10 to 12 months from now? There's more then a small chance that this happy reality could eventuate for you if you did one thing. That thing is to learn how. Investing yourself in the knowledge tools and skills to achieve your financial dreams is elementary. There is an abundant supply of knowledge around and all you have to do is access the right ones. Read a book and it could change your life. There is so much good material and advice out there but there is also some more questionable information about becoming an entrepreneur. I would suggest that the most valuable and trustworthy information would have to come from the ones that have already come before you. The entrepreneurial millionaire that has already made their millions and are willing to put pen to paper may be the most trustworthy and reliable source to take your advice from. They may not be that common and a little rare to find. There are many autobiographies of various millionaires however what is best for you is a "how to" book. The autobiographies although interesting rarely give you the authors strategies and genuine insights but rather concentrate on personal statistics about their life. Imagine making your first million before you are thirty. Imagine becoming a millionaire with just 10 to 12 months of focused and deliberate effort. You see the secret of being a young successful entrepreneur is knowledge. Actually its experience that really matters, however the right experience. If you have wrong experiences, you may find yourself on the wrong path. That's why I say the secret really is knowledge itself. Becoming a young successful entrepreneur is the dream of many people. Especially people that are currently tied down in a job they hate. For many its just an escape. A fanciful idea they know they will never try for fear of being ridiculed. But they still dream. There is a small percentage that are indifferent to the ridicule and are willing to act and have the experiences. Its from the ranks of this small percentage that millionaires spring from. Its these experiences that are crucial to your ultimate success. Because I don't know if you realize this, but knowledge is actually impossible to communicate with words because they are always too clumsy. This fact rarely is understood by most people but when you read about how to do something, your perception is never the same as how the author intended for you to understand. The reason this is so is because reality is fine and very complex. Even thorough verbal language does not communicate accurately but only really points to what "is" Its up to the reader to experience the concepts and begin to relate through experience. After a little experience is an excellent time to come back to the book and read it again. You would know exactly what I mean.
Re: Can you read body language and convert it into a sale? Re: Can you read body language and convert it into a sale? -
So what is your husband's secret? Can you give a specific example of what he does in order to win over customers?[/quote:2b3i4dqy] I don't know his secret, he was born this way, and has 40 years of training. He tried to teach me and coaching me, giving me opening lines, and we did illustrations of real conversation. No luck. He knows how to talk to people, and how to read them, even if it's over the phone, he knows exactly what to say and how to say it, he always tells me "you shouldn't say this, you should say it like this". I am amazed every time.
