A new study by Fronterion has found that, although many law firms in the United States is using legal outsourcing providers for the first time, few are willing to admit in public, leading to a culture of secrecy surrounding development increasingly important within the legal services sector.

Working with outside vendors, if handled correctly, can be a clear selling point for a company willing to stand out from the crowd.
In recent months, a number of major UK companies have made public announcements about deals with providers of LPO and the potential savings they can offer to their customers. The growing popularity of legal outsourcing has also attracted the attention of regulators and bar associations. UK Law Society has launched a consultation on the impact of outsourcing on the profession, trade magazine The Lawyer reports.

Re: Should a start-up outsource early? Re: Should a start-up outsource early? - Outsourcing is not a mature-business function. It's a process that can be utilized at any spot in the business life cycle. I think outsourcing is a fantastic way to reduce expenses, and maintain quality work. Small businesses can benefit greatly from outsourcing data entry, web programming, and other similar tasks.

Re: Blog sells for up to $15 million Re: Blog sells for up to $15 million - We need to brainstorm some possible ideas and a high visibility business niche to focus on. Something that allows us to access real, relative information and facts that we can then post to the blog to inform and enlighten the readers. Nothing commercial in the posts. No marketing or selling or promoting this or that. Just hard facts and information relative to the niche. Information that will help or inspire readers interested in that niche. GT :-]
Re: need pricing help please Re: need pricing help please - I agree that allowing customers to choose digital or physical product delivery is a good idea. If you are handling large volumes of orders then outsourcing the process is an excellent idea. Handling physical orders yourself is a demanding occupation, as I know from experience, but on the other hand, if you are doing it on a small scale it also gives you some good opportunities to personalize your service with hand written compliment notes and so forth. Also, you can learn a lot from your customers if you deal with them through every part of the sales process. Once sales volume picks up, outsource the operation - you'll probably save money as well as time. DH
