Re: Google's April 2012 Update - From the Panda update 3.2 only my site have been affected and that too badly. It use to vanish from the SERP and then listed back after one month of extensive with no improvement rather few position falls. And the same thing happened thrice till now. I researched a lot for the solution but didn't found any, not even on Google Webmaster Forums where apart from Google's Webmasters every one replies saying they too are facing the same issue. Right now I am working hard to rank the site on 1st page but seems yesterday's update has again affected and it felled three positions. However, this time I have revamped my site completely and hope it won't be affected any more as nothing I am doing against Google's quality guidelines. Instead of posting that it is taking another step towards quality I think Google should clear in much clear way as to how one could rank their site with proper methods, what kind of contribution a site owner must do.
Re: Hi I'm new here - Thanks David I'm currently helping a client to improve the process for the manufacturing of packaging machines. We have already successfully gone through the first stage of improvement by reducing scraps as the cost of materials like aluminium are getting higher and overtime work. Now we are in the process of improving the design of this machines as of conforms with the design for manufacturability guidelines. This job is really taking alot from me, especially on the enginnering stuff, and I'm getting comfortable by having one solution at a time. As to the main challenge that I had encountered was to change the habit of the employees from being passive non-contributors into participative. I also experienced some resentment of employees initially, but after cunsultations and interviews they are now accepting the fact the improvement is necessary for the company to be more competitive. thank you
Re: Question: What has been your biggest business challenge? - To optimise the site in different ways and one thing we should always remember, that is quality content/article/services. Quality links refers to links along with quality content, for the visitor not for the search engine, not any offer, advertisement and have quality materials on target link pages. Trying to backlink must have quality content/articles on link sites as well as the sources. I think it really help to gain traffic to the site.
