Finding Your Passion
Finding Your Passion
So why aren’t we all just going for it instead of continuing to live our lives in a half-zombie like state – in a ‘just getting through the day mode’? I mean do we dare? Do we dare to EVEN THINK about living our passion – isn’t that just a childhood dream? What would you need to do to take the first step? As many people are doing today.
More than ever, high income earning executives are becoming life coaches, doctors are hanging up their 9 to 5 shingles, closing their practices and creating info-product businesses, educating and healing their clients in a different way, a much more flexible and enjoyable way. People are discovering at the age of 30, 40, 50 and even 70 that they’ve had enough of wasting their life, doing something that no longer suits them and are radically changing their lifestyle or their careers, to accommodate what they really want to do and how they really want to live their daily lives.
So…Are you living your passion yet?
If it’s been some time since you’ve even thought about what you enjoy, what makes you happy, what you want to be known for, or what you want out of life, then these questions - I found on the Internet some time ago (sorry, source unknown) - may help you get started dreaming again, and who knows - perhaps even set you on new, happier path.
Take a walk in the forest, sit in the sunshine near the beach, or sip a whipped coffee drink at an outdoor café and just let your mind and your heart answer these questions with brilliant honesty. What have you got to lose? You might even discover some really amazing things about yourself that have been hidden or locked away for years.
1. What interest, passion or desire are you most afraid of admitting to yourself and others?
2. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
3. What do you love about yourself?
4. What would you do if money was not a concern in your life?
5. What one thing do you dream about doing that you’ve never told anyone about?
6. What do you fantasize about doing while driving in the car or taking a shower?
7. Who do you know that is doing something that you’d like to do? Describe yourself doing it.
8. How can you make the world a better place for yourself and others?
9. Who do you think you are? Have you labeled yourself? What are the other parts of you?
10. What did you love when you were a child?
11. What’s stopping you from moving forward in discovering your passion?
12. List 5 things that you want. List 5 things that you’re good at. Do you know the difference between them?
13. What drives you? What gives you satisfaction?
14. When you were young, what did you know you would be when you grew up?
15. How would you like the world to be?
16. What would you regret not having done if your life was ending?
You deserve the best life has to offer. Good luck and take action today!.
