In a recent poll eighty-eight percent of the people surveyed reported that they would rather win a travel incentive then a cash incentive. One possible reason for this is that once money is spent (normally it is used to pay outstanding bills) it’s gone. A trip is something that the whole family can enjoy. A company will often offer a raffle or sweepstake with a vacation as the prize to increase traffic. If a company requires that a raffle ticket or flyer be filled out in order to be entered in the sweepstakes they will be able to use the opportunity to gather information about loyal and potential customers.
