Top Vacation Packages For Employee Incentives

There are certain things that an employer can do to ensure that the employees they have are performing to the best of their ability. One of those things is to offer the employees certain incentives for reaching a certain level of productivity and usefulness. This is something that will not cost the employer a lot of money and can actually be the first stepping stone to reaching certain financial goals.

Vacation packages are one of the most powerful of all incentive programs that is currently known. Do not let anyone tell you that you can make more with a monetary based program. Money may be nice to the people but they will work harder and much better if they know they can earn some time away from the workplace and not have to pay for it.

Let's take a look at the top destinations for these employee incentive programs and see where you might like to send your top employees when they come through for you.

Hawaii is one of the best choices for the employees in your employ. Not only is this area one of the most beautiful in the world, but it is also one of the most stress free locations. Those who vacation here are found to be far more rested when they return, taking the best of the world with them to the sandy beaches and tropical climate.

Florida is also highly popular with people on vacation. This is popular with the business type as there are thousands of wonderful golf courses, beaches and world class entertainment. The climate is great for a vacation during the winter months and can provide some much needed relief from the hustle of everyday work schedules.

If you are looking for the location where one can enjoy the nice climate and the chance to meet the rich and famous then look no further then California. This state features the largest concentration of stars that the world has ever seen and has that wonderful weather to go along with it.

Lastly one could set a course for Las Vegas for some desert living. Take along a few bucks and try your hand in one of the many casinos or perhaps just take in some of the wonderful shows. What could be better then the entertainment and excitement that Las Vegas brings to the table?

Now you may be saying that you could never afford to send your employees to any of these destinations but that is just not true. Thanks to the innovation of vacation vouchers there is nothing that is impossible when it comes to travel.

These vouchers are really nothing more then coupons that offer either a free vacation or deep discounts on such things as airfare and resort accommodations. Either way you go you are creating a great incentive for your employees to work harder for you.

You have the choice through most of the vacation voucher companies. They offer a wide variety of choices that will allow you to make an informed decision on what is best for your incentive program.

Re: How do you critique a small business? Re: How do you critique a small business? - There are so many great comments here. One thing that is missing is alignment of the business with the owner's values and the employees' values. We all have values and if there is a disconnect with our personal and business values, the business could be exposed to serious trouble. It might sound like fluffy talk, but I'm actually referring to the bottom line: Money! Consumers will not continue to buy products that don't align with their values, employees will be unhappy (read less productivity and increased sick time and maybe even quit), and the owner will not be fully satisfied either. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. Every dollar saved translates into dollars earned. Here's the power of values... there is a certain clothing designer that myself and others I know simply will not support because that person is openly racist. I can tell you I like their stuff, but I will not buy it! I could provide values tests for the potential winners to fill out and make the comparison. The great thing is that whoever fills it out will also be appraised of an area in their business which could be strengthened. That in itself is a huge reward!
Looking for Mentor - referral directory / reward program Looking for Mentor - referral directory / reward program - Hi all, Hope all doing well. I am in the process to start a new internet based business referral directory aligned with a local community development reward program. Ideally, I am looking for a successful entrepreneur with some back ground on business directory and/or reward programs. Looking forward to hear back for the forum, AM
Women care about employees Women care about employees - I think women entrepreneurs care more about their employees than men so it makes sense that they would consider how the new owner would impact the employees.
Re: How do we stimulate more forum activity and interest? Re: How do we stimulate more forum activity and interest? - Hi GT, I think we have touched on this problem before and I’m sure it is a cause for concern for Evan and yourself. I don’t know how many new members we attract every month but there has to be a reason why they are happy to introduce themselves and then largely disappear from the topics apart from a few who remain active. The quality and resources of the forum are first class so there has to be something perhaps as David has suggested to reward activity but it can be hard to police this. Is their perhaps any mileage in a reward purely for the highest number of posts by a non moderator member as well as the overall winner or maybe a member of the month award. I don’t really have anything unique to offer but I am off to Spain for a week tomorrow and will see if anything comes into this gap between my ears while I am away. regards, Mal.
Keeping Employees Happy Keeping Employees Happy - Here are three interesting ways from career coach Marty Nemko on how to keep employees happy: 1. Instead of hiring consultants to train employees, cater lunch once a month and rotate employees teaching co-workers what they know best. 2. Do the employees hate tough customers? Shunt them all to one volunteer employee who gets special recognition or combat pay. Matt Weinstein, CEO of PlayFair, tells of a bank manager who awards a magnum of wine to the teller who, that week, served the most difficult customer. As a result, instead of trying to avoid difficult customers, most tellers actually look forward to them. 3. Give employees a frequent chance to earn small rewards combined with public recognition: sports tickets, free meals, or on-the-spot cash. But Lynn Halpin, CEO of Detroit Edison, warns that this better be part of a comprehensive plan. "If you work for Attila the Hun, someone handing you $50 is like rubbing salt in a wound."
