More every day experts are finding forums a great way to promote their teleseminars. I am a proponent of participating in only a few forums you can post to on a regular basis rather than dozens you have no time for. A great way to increase your telseminar visibility is to effectively use your sig file (SF or signature file) at the end of your postings.

Depending on the type of forum, you may be able to use the same SF for each one or you may want to write unique sig files for each.

You want to use something that will encourage people to click on a link that takes them back to a landing page to opt in for a free teleseminar. This needs to be a part of your overall marketing strategy.

However, you do need to know what the rules of the forum are. Do they allow SF? Can you add a link in the SF? Can you change your sig file as often as you want?

Here are two examples of a sig file promoting a free teleseminar:

Example One

Discover #1 Secret to Making $500, $1,000, and more per/mo. with the Knowledge You Already Have. FREE teleseminar on (date). Register at (URL).

Example Two

Learn 3 Behavior Methods Master Dog Trainers Don't Want To Share. Train your dog to sit, stay and come on command. FREE teleseminar on (date). Register at (URL).

What you put in your signature file is up to you, but use the space wisely. Periodically change the wording in order to keep it fresh. Make sure to change it out when your teleseminar is over.

As with any part of marketing this is one of many strategies that you can use to enhance your overall position for you and your teleseminars.
