The quiet voice speaks loudly - when you listen

Have you ever wondered how important that little voice inside is? The one that seems to give great guidance and insights...when we listen.

Sure, there is the voice that tells us things are terrible. The one that creates doubt, fear, indecision and uncertainty. It seems lots of people are choosing to listen to this voice. I call it the ugly voice.
The voice I am referring to is the quiet voice. The one when we listen to gives us the insights we absolutely benefit from.

It is often so quiet we don't hear. That is until we get very still, very quiet ourselves.

Now is a perfect time to listen
During these amazingly fluctuating times it would be very beneficial for you to take time to really get connected with this voice which is actually intuition.

In talking with my colleagues who are thriving during these changing times, virtually all of them say they are tapping into their intuition.

Yet, the message can be so subtle many people who are floundering discount the insights they are being given. They move in the space of listening to the chatter in their head rather than the still quiet voice that comes by way of their heart and spirit.

Decisions based on intuition
Recently I began a course at the International Spiritual Center of Eugene. The course is based on the book, The Power of Decisions.

The course addresses how to make beneficial decisions based on acting on intuitive thoughts. What an incredible experience I am having.

Although I have been on my spiritual awakening for over 30 years, I am finding the course material is creating a space of focus that is opening up some amazing opportunities.

Permit me to explain. With so much "noise" right now through the media, conversations people have on a daily basis about what is wrong with the world rather than what is right and the incredible fear many people invite as their daily companion, I find when I take time to get really quiet and "listen" I am literally guided in right action.

Paying attention
My choice is to pay attention or ignore. With as much evidence as I have gained over the years regarding the power of this quiet voice is I would be foolish not to pay attention.

Intuition is something that can be tapped into for any area of our lives. Business is no exception to this. Again, many of the people thriving during these uncertain times are tapping into this source.

Re: Voise SMS feature on mobile...Yes/No Re: Voise SMS feature on mobile...Yes/No - [quote="Ashish":1j8d830z]As far as spam is concerned, how about if you are aware of the destination from where it's arriving. I myself believe if I had to use this form of communication and I have to choose any one of them by spending same, I'd go for the Voice SMS. Anyone else thinks the same or majority people likes to avoid SMS communication.[/quote:1j8d830z] Hi Ashish, If I registered for something like a business seminar or social event, I can see the benefit of being reminded via text message on my cell phone. However, I'd still prefer text over voice SMS because even if you hired a person with the clearest voice to deliver your voice SMS... I'd still need to listen to that message twice to write down the contact person's info/phone number (if it's different than the one used to leave the message). That's a hassle as I may not have a pen and paper down with me.
Promote your products with voice Promote your products with voice - If you have a great speaking voice you could actively promote your best selling product, like you could say "Looking for xyz? You can buy it now for 10% off" and as soon as they hear the product in voice it will capture their attention... where as they could possibly ignore promotional text on a webpage in comparison. The only reservation I have against using voice is that it may feel a bit intrusive to visitors having someone talk to them. In fact everytime I visit a website and hear a voice start talking I just turn my volume down or off completely.
Re: Those Annoying Telemarketers Re: Those Annoying Telemarketers - Use caller id to your advantage. Sometimes telemarketers have useful business tools for you to use, so it doesn't always pay to be rude or hang-up on them. You might consider setting up a separate "vendor" voice mail box. On the welcome message, state that you are really busy and that you receive many cold calls a day, but might be interested in the service they have to offer. State that you review the "vendor" voice mail box about every other week, and that you do actually listen to their pitches. Invite them to leave a message to be reviewed, an let them know that if you are interested in their product, you will return their call. I think this is a fair balance between saving you time, not being interrupted by telemarketers but at the same time lettering those telemarketers try to get their message through to you. --matt
Re: Hello from Missouri Re: Hello from Missouri - As far as the brainstorming sessions... I've tried and (I've got some questions on that too) we end up killing an entire evening listening to his kids scream and yell as he has no quiet space. I have an office in my house where I listen to classical music and just go at it for hours, but his fiance is less than enthused when he spends an evenning away from the house - even if it is for their benefit (small minds). Where should I start a topic about ownership option questions and possibilities?
Re: What inspires you? Re: What inspires you? - Another inspiring thing is which I really likes "Most People Fail because, their dreams are small". Most people like to engage with something or teh other. If they can truly listen to their inner voice and work towards achieving it, then you can see "miracle in action". So, big changes happen, when you think BIG. If you cannot to think BIG, you cannot do BIG things too. Robert
