To decide or not decide - This is the Law of Attraction

Lately I have been reading and hearing a great deal on the power of decision and the power of indecision. Some people would argue that indecision carries no power with it.

Actually, indecision carries a lot of power. The power to immobilize. The power to diminish confidence. The power enhance the "what if" fear so many subscribe to. The power of letting our life pass before our very eyes.

Indecision can be something as simple as turning to the person next to you in a restaurant to find out what they are ordering before you make your choice. After all, you don't want to order the wrong thing regardless of whether or not what you REALLY want is something different than what the person you asked told you they are having.

The restaurant example comes from a book written by Raymond Charles Barker called, The Power of Decisions.

Throughout the book the author gives ample evidence that one's inability to make a decision and take responsibility for their decisions is due to not trusting source. It is also the root of a life of mediocrity.

We are faced with decisions every day. What to wear? What to eat? Who to call? Who to se? What route to take to a destination.

Often we have time to think about our decisions, other times not. We may be called to make a decision in a split second that can forever change our lives. If we have not developed the our ability to make decisions when needed, in the time needed, we can miss many opportunities.

One way to develop your ability to make the most appropriate decision for you is to take quiet time to contemplate what you would like your life to be like. What kind of relationships you want? What level of health you want? What quality of job or business do you want? What quality of life do you seek?

When you take time to reflect on what you truly desire when it comes time to make critical decisions you will be able to make your choices with ease and not regret the choices you made.

Re: What is your biggest challenge? Today? Re: What is your biggest challenge? Today? - My biggest challenge is focusing. There are so many things I want to do and ideas that I have. I can never decide what to do next and when I do decide it's hard to focus on it and get it done. Procrastination is the resulting outcome.

Re: Need help Re: Need help - Hi, As others have said it doesn’t need to cost you any money to start as an affiliate marketer as you can promote other peoples business’s and earn commissions that way to begin with. You don’t have to lower your sights, just maybe be a bit more realistic in your expectations. If you are looking to promote your own product or service from your own website then you have obviously got to buy your domain and then pay hosting fees. If you decide to go for affiliate marketing there is an abundance of help and advice available as you have already discovered with the offers you have had here at the forum. Whatever you decide I wish you well, regards, Mal.

Everyone seems to be talking about the Law of Attraction, but I took a look at her site and its interesting that her stand is that the Law of Attraction isn't enough to really succeed. Chris
Market Research - Step One Market Research - Step One - Before you spend money or time developing a prototype or looking for a patent lawyer, make sure you do the following market research: 1 First of all, clearly outline your idea and product. What is it and what do you see it doing exactly. Try not to get wrapped up in the technical speak at this time, think about features, functions and benefits. 2. outline who you think is the ideal client/customer for this new product/concept. Please dont say everybody. VC firms are very rigid in that if you tell them you can serve everyone - you have ultimately lost all your credibility. Think about your target as specifically as possible, down to what do they do for fun and how are they currently using / not using your product. 3. identify your competition. again, VC's are very hard on this point as well. who could your competition be? we are launching a new leadership series for women in business, while none (as structured as ours exists), we have alot of competition in different areas. be specific and outline who they are based on market share, management, distribution strategies etc. 4. decide now if you want to be the great inventor, or the business owner. most often these are seperate roles so decide now, what position you want to take. if you decide you want to be the inventor - that opens up alternative distribution strategies.. stay tuned, step two is on its way!
