8 Ways That Client Newsletters Build a Fence Around Your Herd

They're out there. Waiting… watching… ready to pounce on your clients. Your competitors want 'em and if you're not on the lookout, they'll steal your 'herd' right out from under your nose.

Sending a company newsletter every month will stop these thievin' poachers and rustlers. Here's exactly how:

1. Newsletters create loyalty.

People don't buy from businesses. They buy from people. A monthly print newsletter will build customer relationships that last a lifetime. Continuing to do so regularly will only reinforce that relationship. And when it come time to buy a product or service again, they'll remember you and not even consider another company.

2. Newsletters sell products and services.

A well-written company newsletter accomplishes many things. But the bottom line is to sell what you are offering. A monthly newsletter serves as a platform to educate your customers on your products and services, relating to as informed consumers.

3. Newsletters generate a high ROI (Return On Investment).

Sending custom newsletters is smart marketing. It generates ROI many times over the actual cost of the newsletter, especially when compared to coupons, mailers and yellow page ads.

4. Newsletters separate you from your competition.

When your clients receive a custom newsletter from your company to them personally, they'll instantly recognize your business as a cut above the rest. That's because businesses don't include a customer newsletter in their direct mail marketing plans. They are reduced to hopes and prayers that their customers will remember to call them.

5. Newsletters establish regular communication.

This goes back to the first point. Your company newsletter tells your customers you care about them; that you want to stay in touch. It's a golden opportunity to thank them for their business, let them know who has been referring you. Many companies offer their clients prizes and gifts in their newsletter plus promote new specials for that month.

6. A well-produced newsletter creates fun for your clients.

A client newsletter isn't all about you. It's about your customer and what interests them. A newsletter that creates fun and is informative gets read - if it's just an advertisement, you can count on it getting tuned out and never opened again.

7. Newsletters are the best value for your marketing dollars

A print newsletter focuses on customer retention. And it's a whole lot easier and less expensive to keep a customer than it is to get one. Spending just a few bucks a year per client is a smart way to keep your customers coming back to you - not your competition.

8. Newsletters provide maximum benefits for minimal costs.

Client newsletters are the company "workhorse." Review this list, because you will not see benefits like these from any other form of communication to your customer list. View it as an investment, not an expense.

Publish a Company Print Newsletter

A company newsletter will build an iron cage around your clients so strong they would never even consider calling your competitors.

You must understand, it doesn't matter what business you're in, what service you offer or if you work in a small town or a large city. Life moves at the speed of light. And so does the awareness people have about you and your business. A monthly client newsletter will guarantee that you always stay in their 'awareness path.'

A professionally researched and well-written customer newsletter is a proven, take-it-to-the-bank marketing strategy. Newsletter marketing will build iron cages of strong relationships around your clients. And they will buy from you over and over again.

Do webinars really work? Do webinars really work? - Since I began this website I've received numerous offers to put on webinars. My concern has always been the time and effort put into creating the webinars versus written content and the ability to rank in search engines for webinats versus articles. To date I have not done a webinar from my site. I was reading Inc's Sales & Marketing section and they had an article profiling a company, LeanLogistics which tested newsletter vs. webinar marketing campaigns. The results? The newsletters yielded double the sales leads at one sixth the cost of the webinars. According to LeanLogistics it was because: - Newsletters can be emailed multiple times - Newsletters can sit in a client's inbox for many days - If a client does not visit the webinar at the appointed time they will not get the information and will not go back to it even if it is available online anytime afterwards Have any of you found success with webinars or do you prefer the traditional written content method of marketing?
aweber aweber - At RSC Business Group Inc., we plan on using Aweber for sending out Newsletters and to use as an autoresponder to inform clients of upcoming seminars they showed interest in attending.
Re: Great start, but no finish Re: Great start, but no finish - My advise is FOCUS on your business. Focusing is the main factor to succeed on business. If you have a great idea, then follow it only, don't look anywhere else. It is especially essential in an online business. Because there are a lot of mind blowing sales letters promising millions dolllars or overnight success, people find it difficult to concentrate on one business and they lose their energy. Concept is simple. 1- Have a good idea; 2- Build your business on it; 3- Monetize your business; 4- Promote it; 5- Build list of responsive customers; 6- Maintain You Business. Focusing and not fearing from competition (instead you can learn from competitiors) are main tips of billionaires ,BTW. Orxan

Re: How Do You Fight Spam? Re: How Do You Fight Spam? - There are several ways in which you can stop spam: Client side: you can configure your email client to move spam to the junk mail, and you can do this by blocking their domain, some clients will even allow you to block ip blocks. Server side: you can set your server to have a white list, that can control spam before it gets to your inbox.
