30 Second Marketing

The 30 Seconds is not a long time, but you can take advantage of it if you are organized.

Describe briefly what you do. "The Business Strategist can help you focus Marketing and Branding Strategy."

Think about what you want to achieve from this short presentation. Are you looking for prospects? Then ask for introductions to people in a specific situation. "A good referral for me is someone interested in starting a new business."

Are you looking for Power Partners? Then ask for introductions to people in specific industries. "I would like introductions to accountants specializing in new businesses."

Finally, finish with your memory hook or tag line. "Steering Direction. Matching Ideas with Resources."

The key it is be specific and to finish on time.

The other hidden important part of a Networking event is to listen to the other person's introduction and take notes. You may be able to help them!
