You really can do anything you set your mind to.

No matter what your barriers, you can do it. Yes, have been listening to outstanding audio programs but it is true.

I have had my challenges over the last 10 years. In 2002, I spent the summer developing The B.R.A.N.D. System™ audio program and workbook. I also worked to develop the Marketing and Branding Strategy to get it in the hands of my target market.

It was getting kicked off on Monday Sept 23, 2002 but I had a terrible head ache. It didn’t stop me since had interviews and presentations during that week. However, that night I still felt really bad and my wife noticed I was out of it. She was smart enough to call the paramedics. It turns out; I had a serious illness and spent 2 days in intensive care and 2 months recovering. Needless to say, I could not promote my product and had to let it sit on the back burner.

This past summer (2008), I was encouraged by some of my clients to reintroduce the workbook and after some research, found a way to offer it online as a download. I did some updating of the workbook and redesign of the Web site based on a workshop on “Getting Your Website on the First page of Google” The kick off of this website was to be the first week of 2009, but again, my health got in the way. Not as serious as before, but Bell’s Palsy effected the muscles in my face. Another challenge! This time I was listening to audio programs and great motivators like Brian Tracy and Les Brown re-enforced my belief that I could do it!

I was also inspired by my 18 year old cousin, Anthony Maginity. He was born deaf and has since excelled in the classroom and on the football and wrestling team at Hersey High School. He is planning on majoring in Engineering in College. He was featured on ABC 7 News in Chicago. You can see his profile here: http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?section=news/disability_issues&id=6605858

So, it is done. The Web site is up. It is on the first page of Google and number 1 on Yahoo after only being up for a week. I actually have 5 different workbooks available and I am looking forward to working with business owners develop their Marketing and Branding Strategy.

You really can do anything you set your mind to.

It gives me a moment to write honestly about whatever I am thinking, so that all the nags or doubts or concerns that are running in the back of my mind can be recorded for me to look at later and then do something about. This frees your mind up to concentrate on each task you work on without having to use part of your mind to remember what still has to be done. MichelleJ
