Hypnotic Sales Letters

It is a known fact that questions can be very hypnotic and the use of mind opening questions in your sales copy can have very beneficial results. Readers of your sales copy are normal people and as such have been raised in a society where when asked a question you must answer. Itís like an automatic habit that we all have built in. If I were to write ìwhat color is the sky?î, you will automatically think blue in your head. It is programmed into us and so why not use this to your advantage when writing your sales copy.

Questions can be used to spark persuasive thoughts and mental images in your readerís mind and they also help to open up their subconscious minds to your suggestions to buy the product or service that you are offering.

There are so many different ways that you can incorporate questions into your sales copy and the purpose of this article is to provide you with a range of examples so that you can put them to good use.

Letís start by using a weight loss product as our first example. You could use a sentence like: If I could show you how to lose 20 pounds in a week, would you be interested? Anyone that is after a quick weight loss solution would definitely be stimulated by this question and they would automatically think yes. This would then spark their imagination and they would begin seeing themselves 20 pounds lighter. They would begin to conjure up all the benefits that would go with being 20 pounds lighter such as buying new clothes, not being so self conscious, fitting into that favourite dress in the back of the wardrobe, and so much more.

You can see just from that one example how mind opening questions will work and how beneficial they can be. Here are some more examples of mind opening questions that you can use. Are you? Are you going to? Ask yourself? Can I show you? Can you imagine? Did you? Did you like? Do you believe? Do you want? Have you been? Havenít you ever imagined? How can I make this? How did that feel? How do you know when? How important is? How much would it be worth to you to? How would you deal with? If I could show youÖwould you be interested? Is it possible that? Is this how you want your life to be? The question to ask yourself is? Was it pleasant? What changes do you want to make? What could this mean? What do you get when? What do you need in order to? What stops you from?

The list of mind opening questions you can use in your copywriting is endless and the key to getting it right is to use the questions that will work best for the product or service that you are trying to sell. You need to know what questions your readers need answers to and once you understand this incorporating mind opening questions will be easy.

Online Sales and Marketing vs Traditional Online Sales and Marketing vs Traditional - Hi Evan, I am noticing that many of the posts in the Sales/Marketing section deal with online marketing, SEM and and SEO and Affiliates. I was wondering if it might be a good idea to separate that section into two; 1) Online Sales and Marketing; 2) Traditional Sales and Marketing

Re: How many nationalities are on the forum? Re: How many nationalities are on the forum? - Hi there, It is amazing the languages have come into the posts. Now Jude was asked, how many languages she speaks. Please, come and tell us. I speak English, German and French. German is my mother tongue. Some thirty years ago I spoke fluently French. Now English has taken that place and I can better understand French than speaking it. English is now my daily used language. German in second place. However, I never grasped the German grammar very much. Why? The Swiss German Dialect is nothing to be compared with High German. At that time hardly anybody wrote the Dialect. Today it is the 'in thing' to write the dialect. (Letters, stories etc) But we have to be able to read High German, because every book, newspaper etc is in High German. Finally, I guess there are a few more who can vote for their nationality.
