Make Sure Your Sales Letter Has A Strong Call To Action

Your call to action is extremely important. If you don’t have a call to action you don’t have a sales page and the copy you are writing may as well be going to your mother. Your call to action is crucial and is compulsory in any sales writing.

Your call to action should be clear, simple, and concise. It should not confuse your reader and by the time they have finished scanning and reading through your sales copy they should be ready to buy but you need to tell them to do so. Your call to action will include phrases like, order now, buy now, invest now, purchase now. These are standard calls to action but you can take this a little further by using what are known as embedded commands and benefits throughout your sales copy. These embedded commands will further enhance your call to action.

Embedded commands and benefits listed throughout your sales copy will almost always go unnoticed by your readers but their subconscious mind will be taking note of each and every one of them. You can have sentences such as: “My Uncle always told me never to buy anything without a no-risk money back guarantee.” The money back guarantee part of this sentence is what you will be focusing on and when you are listing the benefits of purchasing your product or service you will have embedded commands such as no-risk guarantee, fully guaranteed, money back guarantee, or lifetime warranty.

Embedded commands are subconscious commands that get your reader to do something. There are so many different commands you can use and these include, read this, imagine this, ask yourself, try it, secure ordering, brand new, make money, save money, half price, huge discount, big savings, and more. You can see yourself just by reading those few commands what effect they have on you. If someone says read this you will automatically read it. These subconscious commands are what will get your reader to purchase your product or service.

Other words that always work on sales copy are: free of charge, introductory offer, free (anything), surprise bonus, and free trial. People love free things and will take them even if they don’t need them.

Your call to action can be inserted throughout your sales copy with phrases such as: try it now, buy now, get it now, and order now. If you miss out on the importance of your call to action you will lose your potential sales. You don’t need to do anything out of the ordinary just simple tell your readers what you want them to do. The key behind all successful copywriting is to use the formula that has already been developed and proven to be successful but just put your own personal spin on it. If you can do this you are sure to increase your sales and be successful.

Important tips for online business Important tips for online business - 1.Traffic. Without traffic, you have nothing. It is like having a store where nobody walks through the door. Without traffic, there is none to buy your product. 2. Your Sales Letter. This is where you sell your product. It is of vital importance that you have a sales letter that converts, and you should work on it continuously to increase conversion. Otherwise those prospects that you have got to your website will just leave and go somewhere else. 3. Your list! You should continuously be trying to build your list and your network. It is easier to convert a qualified prospect into a customer, and an existing customer in to a repeat customer. Hope this helps guys!
Online Sales and Marketing vs Traditional Online Sales and Marketing vs Traditional - Hi Evan, I am noticing that many of the posts in the Sales/Marketing section deal with online marketing, SEM and and SEO and Affiliates. I was wondering if it might be a good idea to separate that section into two; 1) Online Sales and Marketing; 2) Traditional Sales and Marketing

Re: Quote of the Day - "The only people witho Re: Quote of the Day - "The only people witho - Thanks for sharing this Evan, there are some very powerful quotes in there, I particularly like this one:- You are now at a crossroads. This is your opportunity to make the most important decision you will ever make. Forget your past. Who are you now? Who have you decided you really are now? Don't think about who you have been. Who are you now? Who have you decided to become? Make this decision consciously. Make it carefully. Make it powerfully. regards, Mal.
