How Working From Home Has Changed My Life

The trend of "working from home" is becoming more and more popular. For one reason, unemployment is the highest it's been in over 25 years. People are sick of taking orders from there boss and many live in fear every day as to whether or not they will be able to come back to work tomorrow. This fear affects not only their lives but their spouse's and children's lives as well. A work environment like this is causing an overwhelming amount of stress to the working population right now.

This used to be me not to long ago. I was working 50 plus hours a week and didn't have time to enjoy everything that I was missing in life. I began searching for other opportunities that could give me a way out of this stress and misery. I began to realize the power of the internet and knew that was the direction to move. The internet is probably the most powerful invention that we have ever seen. It is now possible to communicate with anyone around the world in a matter of seconds. People are buying everything these days online. Items as large are houses, boats, and cars now being purchased on the internet. No matter what time of day it is or what time zone your in, there are over a billion people using the internet at all times. There are no other business opportunities that powerful.

Implementing a home based business requires two resources to get started, a computer and an internet connection. This means that you can work any time you wantand in any location you desire. As long as you have you're computer and an internet access you can be an online entrepreneur. Because the internet never closes your business continues to run whether you are in front of your computer or not. Imagine a career opportunity in which you were an entrepreneur and were able to spend a week each month traveling. I'm sure your thinking, how in the world can you be successful at any career and always be gone. You see the internet doesn't know where you are. You can take your laptop on a six month vacation working 4-5 hours a day and still an incredible trip and also produce more income within a month than most people make in a year.

Working from home has truly changed my life. I now have more time than ever to spend with my family and friends. I can travel and experience life the way I always wanted and best of all, I am now in control of my own destiny. Working from home as an online entrepreneur could give you all the opportunities you have dreamed of as well.

Now I spend time coaching others how to live this same lifestyle by becoming an entrepreneurworking from home. There are thousands of programs available out there. Make sure you do the research to find what is right for you. If you don't feel comfortable with the internet don't worry. There are systems in place that give you a step-by-step instruction manuel and tellyou exactly what to do. The only thing missing is your desire and determination to make it happen for you.

The Second Life Platform The Second Life Platform - Greetings! I'm not sure how many of you have heard of or are sensitive to Second Life and its related entities. However, Second Life is a fantastic platform to mimmick real life business operations in a real currency based economy. There are plenty of successful stories for creative individuals, but I'd highly suggest doing your research and appreciating Second Life for what it is, and what it isn't.

Re: What is Your Favorite Thing About Owning A Business? -
For me it's the fact that all the time and effort you put in is worth a lot more, due to it making you "business" more profitable. Working for yourself is also a positive, although employing people you can trust is quite different.[/quote:1t3lpfi8] I like this idea. Working for yourself means you are investing in your own future, not someone else's, although there is value in working for someone else first to gain experience and confidence. Working for yourself does not automatically mean success, fame and fortune. For most entrepreneurs, it takes much work and dedication to get to the point of financial success and comfort - sometimes years. But the benefit is, again, you know you are investing in yourself and building equity for your own future. GT :-]

So are you currently a member? And more importantly, have you tried to open a store front in that virtual world?
Re: Charge what you're worth Re: Charge what you're worth -
People will pay you what you ask. Very few will ever up the price. You are the one who decided what you are worth. The key is that we believe our services are worth the price we are asking.[/quote:292ze3jd] Hi Tami, You're absolutely right. In "Think and Grow Rich", Jessie B. Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.
Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? - HI, I have used trade shows (not participated) to collect potential clients. For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business. It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need.
