Personally I really enjoy the lifestyle that we can live in this modern time. But there are some down sides to it. I’ve heard many people call it, “the microwave society.” Many people want it all now. It seems few people are willing to put in the time and effort to achieve the dreams and goals that they have set for themselves. I believe the most damaging effect that our modern time has had on some people is the attitude of just giving up to easily.

The modern age that we live in is a wonderful thing. We have a lifestyle that even two generations ago they could not have imagined. Personally I really enjoy the lifestyle that we can live in this modern time. But there are some down sides to it. I've heard many people call it, "the microwave society." Many people want it all now. It seems few people are willing to put in the time and effort to achieve the dreams and goals that they have set for themselves. I believe the most damaging effect that our modern time has had on some people is the attitude of just giving up to easily.

Most people don't know how to deal with failure. How do most people accept failure? In today's society most will just give up. I truly believe that failure is only a stepping stone to success. Giving up is really the only true failure in life. In our society today we are so used to getting everything NOW. Easy credit, easy mortgages, easy loans and it goes' on and on. I have seen some people venture into a new home based business or an online business and not achieve the success they wanted in a short period of time and just quit. When asked why they quit the answers are usually the same, "it just didn't work for me." Or I would hear, "I failed at it so I just gave up." It's always the same behind the scenes, quitting is the real failure.

Remember, all success comes out of failure. Failure is not the problem, everyone is going to fail. I really mean that, everyone who is a success in life has failed. And some have failed many times. The key is they just did not quit! Building a profitable online home based business is the same. If you think you can come into this industry and have no failures and all of it is success, you're sadly mistaken. What's really sad is when someone hasn't even really started and they quit. We had many failures when we started but we just didn't quit. We went through several systems before we found a successful online system to plug into. We knew nothing of marketing online and failed many times before we learned the keys to online marketing. What made the difference for Charmayne and I, we just refused to quit. I love the Rocky movies, he refuses to quit. He always got back up. You see, it's not about how many times you get knocked down. It's all about how many times you get back up!

This is a wonderful industry to be involved in. It really can make all your dreams come true. It can truly give you the lifestyle you want. For Charmayne and me, it gave us the opportunity to work from home together. We built a successful profitable online business to be together. Whatever your dreams are you can achieve them in this industry, if you just don't give up! You will have failures, but the real failure is quitting. Just don't quit. If you try a technique and it doesn't work, just tweak it a little. Try it a different way. Or better yet call your sponsor. Ask for help, you're not alone. Learn from your mistakes and just don't quit. Remember, there's never any prize given to the quitter.

It's all about attitude. Most of us were never taught those attitudes of success. One of the wonderful truths in life is; it's never too late to learn something new. If you're serious about creating your own profitable home based online business, go to our blog. There are many articles filled with keys and attitudes of success. They are there for anyone to use. If you have been struggling in your home based internet business; it's ok. Draw a line in the sand today. Get up and dust yourself off and start again. You can do this. We believe in you!

My entry - 1. The Best Business Books Ever: The 100 Most Influential Business Books You'll Never Have Time to Read - this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody. 2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
Why A Project Fails? - Hello Everyone As the size and complexity of ones business grows, so does their need to effectively manage projects. I have been thinking about the major reasons why a project can go wrong and my limited experience comes up with the following. 1 Leadership: A project manager with leadership skills and not just management skills. 2 Failure to (Foresee and) Plan 3 Failure to Manage: Ineffective change management control methods. Unclear decision making guidelines. 4 Talent: Finding, allocating and developing people 5 Scope: Setting an overly ambitious or amibigious project scope 6 Alignment: When projects are not prioritized in alignment with the business strategy, or project members personal objectives are not in tandem with that of the project / company 7 Lack of Candor: Communication Breakdowns I would be interested in knowing everyone's thoughts on this, especially on ways to overcome the above mentioned obstacles.
