There are many reasons why a person would want to build their own online, in-home business. It could be anything from just needing or wanting a little more income to wanting to work from home. I have met people who saw the huge potential and just wanted to get rich! The simplicity of just working from home and being with my loved ones all day every day is what attracted me. No more commuting, no more boss, no more rat race! One of the most beautiful things is just, the freedom. The ability to come and go as you please. To be your own boss. But everyone has their own wants and desires. And that is what each one needs to clearly define for themselves. But the truth is, a profitable online business can provide for just about any want or desire.
We could share for hours on the benefits of having an online in-home marketing business. There is one key element that is quite often over looked that I would like to mention today. And that is; the power of duplication. And I know what you are thinking; what is that!? Let me explain. J Paul Getty once said, ” I would rather make one percent of one hundred peoples efforts than one hundred percent of one persons efforts.” If you work a job, you are depending on the income of just one person, you! What happens when you get sick, or hurt? That’s right, your income stops! The same thing if you get laid off, fired or quit. Yes, your income stops. Let’s just imagine that we really could reap the efforts of one hundred people. If one gets sick, quits, we still have the efforts of the other ninety nine! That’s the power of duplication! And that’s exactly the principal of online marketing. That’s what happens when you involve others in your in-home online business. It’s no longer just your efforts.
I know what you’re thinking. “ Man, it sounds like I’m using people!” Let’s examine that thought. First you give the other person an opportunity to start and to own their own business. And hopefully you are honest and ethical and you help and train them. And you are there for them every step of the way. You help them develop their business to the point that they can run it themselves and they are making a lot of money. They make a lot of money and for your efforts you get just a little. It really sounds like they used you! But that’s how this industry works. You help someone else make a lot and you get a little. But the real key is; if you help enough people to make money, you will make a lot of money! That’s the power of duplication!
Another beautiful aspect of this industry is, you get the privilege of training people to be leaders. A good and honest leader will always be looking for the opportunity to train up other leaders. Only a dictator withholds knowledge. You will always notice the top leaders in this industry passing on their knowledge. They are forever helping others up the rungs of the ladder of success. The mark of a true leader is when he has trained others to go forth and do the same! That’s real duplication, when you’ve trained someone else to go and do the same.
The rewards are not only monetary. When you can train someone who can train someone else to create a business, get out of debt, create a better life for their family, what a feeling! What a sense of pride! I believe with that ability, we can change the world. All we have to do is look for leaders and be willing to give of ourselves to help change someone else’s life. And then teach them to do the same. How many of you saw the movie, Pay it Forward? It’s just like that. That’s the power of duplication.

Make a list of the most recent 10 marketing items you’ve created or paid to have created. If you don’t have any materials, you can simply list the pieces you plan on creating.
