We have written several articles with tips and ideas to help the average person to build a profitable online in-home business. Many people want their own business and many people have a home based business. But I believe that many of these people do not understand what an online business is in its simplest form.

Let's boil this idea down to its most basic component. It really is very simple, it's all about marketing. I believe most people have the wrong concept about their internet business. They believe they need to be the best at their particular business. Which is true to some degree. You do need to be good at what you're doing. But let's look at what you are actually doing. Let's break down what you are doing to its simplest form.

If you have an internet home based business and are selling a service, product or opportunity online, what you are really doing is Marketing that service, product or opportunity online. It's really simple, you are a marketer. You need to learn to be the best internet marketer you can be. If you learn how to market on the internet, you can sell anything on the internet. The whole key is learning to be a professional internet marketer. After all, that's why they call it internet marketing.

Traditional business is changing. The way traditional business has done its marketing in the past is rapidly changing. Traditional ways of marketing is shrinking while internet marketing is growing at a very rapid pace. Even the whole face of MLM's is changing to the internet. Traditionally a person in an mlm would talk face to face with someone. They would constantly be working on increasing their "list." Cold contacting was expected if you were to succeed. But the problem with that was that most people you talked to were not interested in your "thing." The internet has changed that. Now your sphere of influence is the whole world. You can market your mlm, your gadget, or your service on the internet and only the people who are really looking for something different in life will contact you. You are marketing to the interested people. The whole dynamics have changed!

There are many ways to market on the internet and there are even more places to market on the internet. Align yourself with a system that will teach you to be a marketer. If they are only willing to teach you how to be good at only your "thing", the chances are you won't do well on the internet. You will spend a lot of time and a lot of money only to become frustrated. Take it from me, Charmayne and I have been there! What made the difference for us was finding a system that taught us to be marketer's on the internet. Once we learned how to market, our in-home business was totally in our hands. We started to market it in several different ways. As we got success we cut out the ones that didn't work and increased the methods that did work. The really beautiful thing was that once we got our system in place, it was working for us twenty four hours a day. It is such a wonderful feeling to wake up in the morning and see that your business has increased while you were sleeping!

If you are just brand new or you have been at this for awhile, take this to heart, learn to be a really good marketer. Align yourself with a system that will teach you how. It worked for us and I know it will work for you too. Take action, get started today and change your life and your family's life forever!

Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.

Forum Marketing Yahoo Answers (I need to use more of) SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Bum Marketing or Article marketing P-P-C (Pay Per Click) Marketing Online Directories Hope this helps.
