Profitable Online Home Based Business Ideas and the Recession; No More Stress

     Do you ever have the feeling of impending doom or dread on a Sunday afternoon? Do you ever walk by your alarm clock during the weekend or evenings and just want to choke it to death? When the weekends are coming to an end do you get a sick feeling in the pit of your stomach?

     I had all of those feelings for many years. Charmayne and I never realized how much stress was in our lives until we quit our jobs to be home full time. I look back on it all now and it’s perfectly clear. But when you’re in the middle of it all it’s not so clear. You know it’s there but you have to work and be responsible. Most people, including myself, just don’t want to face it because we have no other options. To feed our families we have to work our jobs.

     If you just love your job and there is no stress in your life, then this article is not for you. I’m glad for you. But I know there has to more people in the world who feel the way I did. Having quit our jobs and being home fulltime now for two weeks I can see things so much clearer. Just the need to get up at five o’clock every morning to go to work was stressful enough. We now wake up when we want to. You cannot imagine the relief in life to be able to just roll over instead of rolling out in the morning!

     This next paragraph is hard for me to put into words, so I will do the best that I can. I guess the next stressful feeling I had was one of helplessness from working for someone else. I think this feeling comes for several reasons. First, as an employee, we really are a slave to our jobs and our employers. They literally control every aspect of our lives. They determine what we get paid each month. One of the feelings of stress I had in my life was I knew I wasn’t being paid what I was worth. The reality is; you will never be paid what your worth when you work for someone else. They can only pay so much to an employee. They are going to make the most money because they own the business; they took the risks to start their business. And sad to say, a paycheck is never going to be enough. That’s why people are working two and three jobs today. You may think your employer doesn’t control your life, but think about it. What you are paid from your job determines where you live. What size house you live in. What kind of car you drive and so on. If you’re flipping burgers at McDonalds you’re not going to be able to afford a Ferrari. I think you get the picture.

     If you still think your employer doesn’t control your life, tell him you want the next month off with pay so you can go to Hawaii. That’s right; if he doesn’t fire you he’ll get a big laugh out of that. The best hours of your day are controlled by someone else. Your job determines when you get up, when you leave the house and when you get to come back home. Your job also determines how much free time you have. It all adds up to stress. I was stressed because I wanted to be home with my wife more. I only had so much time on the weekends to get done what I needed to. More stress. And we are not even talking about the dreams and goals you want to achieve but can’t because of a lack of income! But I think you’re getting the picture.

     Get into business for yourself. You can take control of your life and live the life you want to. There is an online business you can do that will allow you to achieve your dreams. You just need to make a decision that you are going to change your life. And once you make that decision take action to do what it takes to take back control of your life and dreams.
