Profitable Online business Ideas and the Recession; Increase Your Income

In these economic hard times everyone senses a high degree of fear and unrest. The typical reaction most people have is to "tighten your belt!" Many people will seek a part time job. Others will cling ever tighter to the job they have. Cutting corners and shaving the family budget is surely the norm. All of these things are a typical reaction. But is there another way?

May I propose something a little different? How about increasing your income? I know what you're thinking, yes that would be fantastic! Yes it would be, and all it takes is a change of attitude. In life, the majority of people, the average person, will react as those people in the first paragraph. The majority of Americans are broke, only thirty days away from bankruptcy. And the first paragraph is how they think. Why not think differently. Why not do something a little different than the average person.

As stated earlier, all it takes is a change of attitude, and a change of habits. The average person works a job. The average person trades their precious time for a few dollars that are never enough. The average person works all day at a job and then comes home to sit in front of a TV set. To have more than the average person you have to do more than the average person.

Can you really increase your income? Absolutely you can! Can the average person change to be an above average person? Absolutely they can! It really is simple; it just takes a deep desire to have more in life than what you currently have and a little self discipline. Turn off the TV set. Take your extra non job time and invest it in yourself and your family. Build your own home based internet business. Start part time and create an online business. Be persistent at it every day. Align yourself with a system that will train you to be an internet marketer, and apply that training in a consistent persistent manner. If you do that you will be amazed at how fast you can have your own profitable online in-home business.

Are you worth more in life than what you're currently being paid? Do you want to be one of the above average people? Do you have the drive and determination to build your online business in a consistent manner? Are you teachable? If you answered yes to those questions, then stop procrastinating! Get started today. Take a step of action to change your life right now.

The top three things for me are: 1. Maintaining a 6 figure income year in and year out. 2. Creating and promoting my own products. 3. Income not solely dependent upon my personal effort. How about yours?[/quote:1igrdgib] I would have to say mine were: 1. Monthly Residual Income that exceeds all expenses by 110% 2. Free time to create and promote my own products (relies on #1) 3. 5% of all revenues generated by my team going to feed starving kids Now that is "feel good work".

How do you set a value on a business? How do you set a value on a business? - Hello there! I have a friend that's looking to sell their business. I would like to know how a business gets valued. Can someone help me here? Here's some fairlyaccurate numbers: Gross sales: $153,000 (3 year avg) Income: $75,000 (3 year avg) I've heard that there's a ratio that can determine the value. Does anybody know what it is? The buyer wants to see P&L's. Is their some type of disclosure agreement that protects the seller... How is this typically done? After all, the buyer is a competitor... Buyer has suggested deposit, then pmt plans. I'm under the impression that this is common practice in the sale of a business. If so, what's the best way to approach this proposition as a seller? Thanks in advance for your feedback!
Never give an excuse Never give an excuse - [quote="Sebastien":3d3trrkv]I had an issue once with the Tacone franchise. I called a local location about 5 times and left voicemails every time to have someone call me back because I wanted them to cater a little get together I had. Nobody ever returned my call. I went straight to the website (the franchisor site) and complained that if they were not interested in doing business with me, SubMarina or another sandwich shop would probably be glad to. About an hour later I had a call from the Tacone franchise Area Developer in San Diego, telling me he just took over this territory and he was aware of problems at this particular location. He was really apologetic and knew there was a problem. I thanked him for calling me back so quickly and told him I would probably never buy from them anyways (I am a very snobby customer. When I pay for something, I like to be taken care of). A day later, I get a phone call from the local franchisee (whom I actually knew since we had done business together), explaining how busy he was that he couldn't return my call earlier. I was so chocked! What kind of business is that? I thanked him and told him I will never buy Tacone again. Well, I ended up buying Tacone again because it's so good but I never want back to this one location.[/quote:3d3trrkv] Hi Sebastien, I see where you're coming from and I've stopped going to a particular Kelsey's franchise because of their slow service. We waited more than 50 minutes for our entrees and the manager could only tell us that they were "busy". Well to add to your point, retail expert Doug Fleener says "Profitable Retailers always put the customer first. First before the tasks associated with operating the business. First before profits...First in everything the company does...No one is really interested in how busy you are. In fact, giving an excuse can be insulting. When you say, 'I'm just so busy,' it implies that the other person isn't" ("The Profitable Retailer" 69 & 70). The Tacone franchise you originally called should've arranged for at least someone else to touch base with you if they were too busy themselves to do it or suggested a better time to discuss business.
